Mariah Carey shows off her new slim bod

Wow! How amazing does Mariah Carey look?! The “Honey” singer showed off her new slim figure in a body hugging red dress while speaking at a press conference where she announced that she is the new Jenny Craig brand ambassador. Mariah Carey has been notably camera shy for the past 18 month admits to Us magazine that it was because she "gained an enormous amount of weight" during her pregnancy with her new twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

But the sexy singer is ready to step in front of the camera again. Recently, she showed up at the Four Seasons hotel in New York to promote Jenny Craig as the brand's new ambassador. She says the weight-loss program helped her lose 30 pounds from July to October with a 1,500 calorie-per-day diet.

Posing for photos at the Four Seasons Hotel, she said "It was a huge blessing to be able to have the babies, but I felt trapped in my body because I couldn't move," Carey told Us. She continued: "I'm proud of how hard I worked to get my body back...I had to do this for me."

Mariah Carey to star in a Play

Mariah Carey is all set to star on London’s West End. The singer has been in the British capital for a series of meetings with a top theatre producer who has now offered her a 15,000-pound-a-week contract.


The actress is expected to make her stage debut next spring. Mariah’s done a bit of acting in her time but nothing on this scale.


Mariah has always wanted to star in a play so this really is a dream come true. She seems to be hugely flattered and is determined to nail the part. The actress seems to be pretty confident of her own abilities.

Singer Mariah Carey is having sleepless nights. And in order to pass time, the stunner watches her husband Nick Cannon doze peacefully while she is wide awake.

Mariah is not the only celebrity to have sleepless nights. Robbie Williams often finds it difficult to get a peaceful sleep.

Salma Hayek had also revealed in the past that after she had given birth to her daughter Valentina Paloma, she didn`t sleep for six months. Salma said: "I don`t even remember what my life was like before. I can tell you that I don`t sleep. This is a cliche but it`s true. I haven`t slept in the last six months.
