Lara Dutta–Mahesh Bhupathi come closer

After going public with their relationship, ace couple Lara Dutta and her latest beau Mahesh Bhupathi have decided to take their affair to an all-new level.

Ditching the age-old adage of ‘distance makes the heart grow fonder’, Bhupathi has decided to shift his base from Bangalore to Mumbai to be close to his babe i.e. Lara. Bhupathi has rented a flat in Nibbana building (Pali Hill), which is about ten minutes from his lady’s residence at St Paul’s Road, Bandra.

After this the couple sure seems to be moving up the commitment ladder. What’s interesting is that Lara had even accompanied her beau to Nibbana when he took the final decision. That flat belongs to Jaya Jhaveri.

There are rumours that Lara might move in with Mahesh but official confirmation is awaited.

In Bollywood, one bikini-babe is more than enough to carry a film on her shoulder. What would happen if the number is three? Yes, it’s true! There is news that three super-hot babes will display their well-sculpted frame in Sajid Khan’s ‘Houseful’. And the three ladies in question are – beauty queen Lara Dutta, long-limbed Deepika Padukone and sexy Jiah Khan.

Lara Dutta was the first to leak the little secret in an interview. “Let’s just say that there is an ocean dive in ‘Housefull’. I didn’t have a choice about the bikini in ‘Blue’. For ‘Housefull’, there’s a water sequence. So the swimwear is back. It’s not like I’m getting into a bikini for the heck of it,” she said.

As soon as the secret was out, some other meaty news has been made public, too. Jiah Khan would also be seen in a skimpy two-piece in the comic caper. Not only this, Deepika Padukone will also reveal her long-limbed form in a swimwear.

So, ‘Housefull’ offers a sort of triple bonanza on the lines of ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ after Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Denise Richards revealed their bodies in swimming costumes.

Katrina Kaif makes Lara Dutta feel Unsafe

Lara Dutta seems to be insecure about her upcoming film- Blue. She is playing the main female lead in the film but seems to be feeling threatened and losing sleep over Katrina Kaif’s special appearance in the film. She is desperate to see the rushes of Blue and is requesting the makers for the same.

Katrina was a last minute addition to the film on recommendation of good friend Akshay Kumar who plays one of the three male leads of the film along with Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan. She was to to do an item number in the film. But seeing her bigger star status a few scenes too were shot on her and her role has increased which has made Lara feel unsafe.

The entire first round of publicity for the film was dominated by internationally famous pop singer Kylie Minogue. Lara’s hot bikini scans too haven’t done the trick for her either.

Her last release Billu too saw the trio of Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone hogging all the publicity when in fact she had a bigger n better role in the film. She doesn’t want the same to happen here over Katrina and Kylie.
So her feeling insecure is quite justified!!!

One actress in Bollywood can be termed as thinking man's actress and she is none other than the goddess of beauty, poise, grace and elan - Lara Dutta and she recently proved this fact yet again.

Lara appeared on the famous show - 'Sunsilk Presents Knights & Angels' as the Blue gang of girls set the stage ablaze. Lara was seen at her stylish best. On the show, she not only cheered the girls with full enthusiasm but also recollected her days when she participated in the Miss Universe beauty pageant.

The Bollywood belle was so taken aback with the brilliant performances that she also joined them on stage to shake her leg to the tunes of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and gave these young girls some tips on cheerleading.

Lara Dutta has been idle for the whole of the last year except for a small guest appaerance in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi . Apart from this she also had giving the voice-over for the animated flick Jumbo. This diva has number of films this year such as Billu Barber, Blue and Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai.

But prior to that she is all set to put the silver screen on fire. She is seen at her glamorous best as the cover-girl for fashion magazine 'Grazia' in their January issue. Lara to lend voice for Jumbo

A while ago, Akshay Kumar and Dimple Kapadia lending their voices for Percept Picture Company's forthcoming animated flick Jumbo. but now its not so. Itis expected that Lara Dutta would also be doing a voice over for the same.

This is the first time that she would be associated with an animated film she is very exited about lending her voice and surprisingly she is doing it for free. The actress apparently loved the film when she watched it and became desperate to be a part of it.

Looks like animation flicks are the latest craze for all our B-town celebs. After all, everyone from SRK (The Incredibles) to Saif Ali Khan (Roadside Romeo) and Kareena Kapoor (Roadside Romeo) to Lara Dutta (Jumbo) seem to be more than excited to lend their voices to the animated characters.

Lara to keep her Hair Style Intact Underwater

It's well known that the gorgeous Dutta babe would be seen doing some high voltage underwater stunts in her upcoming movie Blue. She will be seen wet alright but the actress apparently decided that she would like to keep her hairstyle intact even when she is amidst her action scene under water. And to make that possible she got her the same make-up artist who was behind Keira Knightley's look in Pirates Of The Caribbean.

"The film required a make up artist who could handle make-up for under water sequences as well as special effects for the action sequences and give the character a glamorous beach babe look that was also very natural looking," says Lara Dutta.

"Nikoletta Skarlatos, who has worked on Transformers as well as Pirates… came very highly recommended by our international action team. She and Clarabelle Saldhana have put the whole look together for make-up and hair. They have done an amazing job and I am extremely thrilled with the results," she added.

Well, she seems pretty happy with their work. Wonder what they have to say about this Indian beauty who had mesmerized the world during the Miss Universe contest way back in 2000.

Lara on Salman's Hit List

After Shah Rukh Khan, it seems Lara Dutta is now on Sallu's hit list. Sources reveal that there was obvious tension between the two on the sets of “10 Ka Dum” during the shooting of the grand finale.

Last week, Salman shot for the final episode of the first season along with guests such as Rani Mukerji, Anu Malik, Rakhi Sawant, Shakeel and Lara Dutta.

While Salman mingled with Rakhi and Rani and even entertained them with his one-liners, he didn't bother much about Lara. Even though Salman asked them both a common question, he was more interactive with Rani than Lara. He avoided Lara to the extent possible and she felt insulted and out of place.

The problem between Salman and Lara started when Kareena replaced her in Sohail Khan's home production “Main Aur Mrs Khanna”, starring Salman. Lara was in the running for the lead role of the film but she wasn't too happy with the way she was dropped from the movie.

Also, the fact that Lara is a part of SRK's “Billoo Barber” could have partly caused Sallu to avoid Lara. After all, at the moment, he detests anyone who has anything to do with SRK.

Lara furious at the Sets of Aur Devdas

Lara Dutta, we heard, is extremely upset with a production house as they booked her dates for two months but did not shoot for Aur Devdas.

The ambitious project, which also stars Shiney Ahuja and Chitrangada, is a remake of Devdas . However, the project is currently in trouble as Lara refuses to take calls from the production house after they wasted her precious time. For now, Lara, who was to play Chandramukhi in the film, seems to have walked out of the film.

A source from the production house said, “We had taken dates from all the actors including Shiney, Lara and Chitrangada for two months. However, nothing materialised because of which the actors lost a lot of time.”

“Lara is so angry that she isn’t responding to calls from both – the film’s producer and director Sudhir Mishra. She lost out on many projects and a huge amount of money because her dates were booked for Aur Devdas ,” added the source.
