SRK is waxed in Paris

It's general knowledge that the English in India and other foreign countries is 'Same-Same but different'. In the sense, in India, we say 'Cat', whereas they say it's 'Kat'. Here we say, 'cheque', they say 'chek', so on and so forth! But there's one name to which not only India, but the whole of the Universe abides by and shall abide till eternity and that's 'Shah Rukh Khan'!

The latest 'victim' of the SRK mania was Paris, a city which experienced a never-before mayhem. The reason? Well, SRK was in France for the unveiling of his wax statue at the Grevin Museum. His wife Gauri Khan and Karan Johar accompanied him.

If you thought that SRK will be a stand-alone in the museum, better think again, coz' he has company from the likes of Marylyn Monroe, Michael Jackson and around 300 odd celebrities. SRK now becomes the third Indian at the museum, the first two being Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi.

Is there anything left for you to accomplish, Mr. Khan? True that 'Impossible Is Nothing'.

Aamir Promotes "JAANE TU YA JAANE NA"

Aamir Khan has thought of an innovative teaser theatrical trailer to promote and launch his nephew Imran Khan. It is 2.5-minute trailer that actually takes tongue in check dig at all star launches and all the hoopla over well toned muscular bodies; including him as everyone is aware that he has the best body in town for his look in Ghajini.

It shows as a huge well-toned muscular guy with all trimmings of a theatrical launch, only to reveal the real Imran Khan who is a boy next door as his character in the film. Aamir Khan Production's third production, after Lagaan and Taare Zameen Par, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na is the launch vehicle of Imran Khan, Aamir Khan's nephew. Nasirsahib, who is Imran Khan's grandfather, launched Aamir Khan in QSQT.

Aamir Khan has been taking very keen interest in smallest details of the promotion of the film. In fact, he is personally looking into the smallest details of the promotion even though he is completely entrenched in shooting for a crucial portion of Ghajini in Hyderabad.

"Jaane Tu… as a film has a very young idiom, the language and the tone of the film is very tongue in cheek. We wanted the teaser to reflect the same irreverence in attitude," says Abbas Tyerwala, the director of the film.

The Babes of Bolllywood match the Guys in Business & Not just in Glamour World

If the men are doing it so are the women. From opening restaurants to starting hotels, actresses are also blurring the lines between the worlds of Bollywood and business.

While actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Shah Rukh Khan and Suniel Shetty are thriving in the business world, their counterparts Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai and Preity Zinta are also giving them tough competition.

Sushmita was probably the first to turn entrepreneur when she set up her company Sensazione in 2006. Through her company, she plans to open a chain of hotels, lounges and spas. Besides, she has acquired 12,000 sq ft of space in Kolkata for a 'lifestyle zone', which apart from a huge open space will house a nightclub, a restaurant and a cigar lounge.

She says frankly that she was tired of being an actor and business had always been a second career option.

'Had I not been an actor, I would have been an entrepreneur. The lounge bar in Kolkata and my dream project, the spa, are all part of my effort to touch people's lives,' the actress has been quoted as saying.

Sushmita has other plans too.

Under the banner of her production house Tantra Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, the ex-Miss Universe also wants to make meaningful films. Her first venture is 'Rani Lakshmi Bai - The Warrior Queen'. The actress, who is directing as well as acting in the film, is currently busy with the pre-production work of the historical epic.

Her colleague Preity Zinta has become co-owner of the Mohali cricket team of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with partner Ness Wadia and two others. She is determined to make a go of it and says: 'When I do anything in life for the first time, I want to succeed.'

'It's 2008! Women should get more active in business. It's very different from working on a film where you're on your own when 'action' is called on camera. In a boardroom, there's constant conference and multi-tasking. The creative process is different in both the spheres.'

And Aishwarya Rai, according to reports, has stepped in to resurrect father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan's company AB Corp and is negotiating with filmmakers to restart production work.

Then there is Ayesha Takia who with restaurateur boyfriend Farhan Azmi is set to launch their first boutique hotel in Goa.

'It's a dream come true for Farhan and I. We have been planning to do something together for the past year,' Ayesha said in a press announcement.

The couple has acquired a 200-year-old Portuguese bungalow in Candolim, which is just 10 minutes away from the beach. They plan to build a luxurious swimming pool, a lounge area and are working out details on how to entertain guests with good music and superb cuisine.

'Each of our boutique hotels will have 20 rooms,' Ayesha has said.

Her appreciative boyfriend adds: 'Ayesha is interested in doing other things rather than just acting which is so great.'

There are others too -- for instance, Raveena Tandon is contributing significantly to the running of her husband Anil Thadani's film distribution business.

Former actress Twinkle Khanna is a successful interior designer and won the Elle Decor International Design Award. She floated a company called Mock-Ups that specialises in interior decoration, designing and executing spaces. Besides designing homes and offices, she also owns an interior designing store - the White Window - in Mumbai.

In 1940, legendary actress Devika Rani tried her hand at business by taking the charge of Bombay Talkies after her husband's death, but she had to face failure.

But the new brigade is set to rewrite the rules.

First Look on "Dark Knight"

This monsoon promises to be a dark one. Perfect for one Dark Knight.

Yup, that is the title of the new Batman film starring Christian Bale, the late Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Based on the fictional DC Comics character Batman, this sequel to 2005's Batman Begins, is directed by Christopher Nolan and explores Batman's fight against the Joker (played by Ledger) and his strained friendship with district attorney Harvey Dent (Eckhart).

Filmed primarily in Chicago (as was Batman Begins), and in several other locations in and outside the United States, The Dark Knight marks the return of the Joker.

Interestingly, the role attracted the attention of actors like Paul Bettany, Lachy Hulme, Adrian Brody, Steve Carell, and Robin Williams, who publicly expressed interest in the role. However, Ledger bagged the role, which he described as 'psychopathic, mass murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy'.

The film will be released on July 17 in Australia, on July 18 in North America, and on July 25 in the United Kingdom

Milenge Milenge-Kareena Shahid's Last Bow Together!!!

Milenge Milenge, a film which has been in the making for the last two years, is now believed to be nearing completion. After the roaring success of Jab We Met, producer Boney Kapoor is trying his best to capitalize on the chemistry of his lead pair. Despite their break up, Jab We Met did great business.

Milenge Milenge may well be the last film that the duo of Kareena and Shahid ever do together. Apparently after the break up, there were a few hiccups during the film's post production stage. One hears that the former lovers refused to turn up for dubbing. But Boney is a patient and persistent guy. After six months of waiting, he has finally got the two actors to start dubbing for his film. It is being rumoured that the film which has been directed by Satish Kaushik, has been greatly inspired by Hollywood's Serendipity. But the director insists that the film is not a copy of the Hollywood flick but may have certain common elements.

Mansoor Khan Makes A Comeback

Close to a decade after his name last flashed on the credits for a movie, Mansoor Khan is back in action.

The man who made his debut as a film maker with QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK and followed it up by JO JEETA WAHI SIKANDAR and AKELE HUM AKELE TUM last wielded the megaphone for JOSH (2000). Ever since then, Mansoor Khan has taken a sabbatical from film making even though each of his films met with either critical or commercial acclaim or both.

Now for the launch of his nephew Imraan Khan, he is making an exception and returning to film making. However, it is in the capacity of a producer rather than a director. The film is JAANE TU NA JAANE NA which is a co-production between Aamir Khan Productions and PVR Cinema and has Mansoor and Aamir working together with Bijli brothers of PVR to get the project together.

As per Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan came on board after his personal request since he was busy with TAARE ZAMEEN PAR and wanted someone to be at the helm of affairs for handling day-to-day production activities in JAANE TU YA JAANE NA. However, when it comes directing a film, Mansoor Khan has still not penciled in a subject and currently there is an indefinite wait before the man comes behind the camera again.

JIYA KHAN SHOCKED!!!

'Nishabd' fame Jiah Khan, who has shot for two days for Ken Ghosh's next, is shocked to hear rumours that she's out of the project and Katrina Kaif is in.

“I ve already shot for two days for the untitled film with Shahid Kapur. After that there were scheduling issues. My dates for Ken's film were clashing with Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini’. I couldn't possibly let the Aamir project suffer at any cost. It's my chance to create the impact that I couldn't, for some weird reasons, after Nishabd”,Jiah told

However, the date problem has been sorted out and Jiah is set to shoot for Ghosh's film.
'I've already given my dates for Ken's shooting. No one has so far informed me that I'm not in the film. So it'd be right for me to presume the project remains as it is.'

As for talk of her over-friendly messages to Shahid, Jiah protests: “I have just sent him a couple of formal messages saying how much I'm looking forward to working with him.”

'I'm new to all this. I keep to myself and I've no idea what people do in this industry. I am here only to work.' She adds.

Meanwhile, director Ghosh confirmed that Jiah is still in the project.

'I wouldn't like to say much on the matter. I'll let my producers UTV clear all the misunderstanding. But Jiah is very much in the project. This isn't to say that I don't want to work with Katrina Kaif. Of course, I do. Look how hot she's at the box office! We'll work together some other time. It's a small industry.'

But how could Katrina be eligible for a role earmarked for Jiah?

'Why not?' Ghosh shot back. 'Didn't Mr. Bachchan do 'Zanjeer' in place of Dev Anand? And didn't Mr. Bachchan say yes to 'Deewaar' after Rajesh Khanna opted out? These things happen all the time. Like I said, it's a small world.'

Kim Sharma In Indra Kumar's Next

Bollywood hottie Kim Sharma, who was last seen in the forgettable flick Chhodon Naa Yaar, has now signed director Indra Kumar's next untitled film.

"Yes I am going to start shooting for Indra Kumar's film from Monday,” said Kim. “The as yet untitled film is a comedy and stars Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Tulip Joshi, Aashish Chaudhary and Javed Jaffrey. I play a Catholic girl in the film."

Well, let’s hope Kumar is able to deliver yet another hit after last year's laugh-riot Dhamaal. If not anyone else, Kim surely would be on cloud nine then.

Upen finds a tough time dancing with Govinda

With two left feet, it wasn't easy for Upen Patel to match steps with the inimitable Govinda, but he thanks his co-star who ensured that he was completely comfortable.

'I was nervous because I've been shooting a music video with the one and only Govinda. Can you imagine me, just a four-film-old newcomer with two left feet, doing a jig with the awesome Govinda?'

Both were shooting for the promotional music video of 'Money Hai Toh Honey Hai'.

'He guided me through my steps, made sure our styles matched. He is so spontaneous and free-styled, while my steps are far more controlled. But you've to see us together for this number. Not for a second does Govinda let me slip up,' Upen told IANS.

So who says senior can't take to their juniors kindly?

'Govinda just adopted me on the sets of 'Money Hai Toh Honey Hai'. The song is a very racy - with 'Race' kind of dance track by a new duo named Nitish-Soni.

'I died when I realised I had to dance with Govinda for this song. On top of it, the film's director Ganesh Acharya was the choreographer. Both have done a million films together.'

Upen is truly appreciative of Govinda, especially at a time when stories about the senior star's eccentricities are being circulated.

'I find Govinda so normal, down to earth and nurturing. I've had some bad experiences with established actors. But one Govinda makes you forget a thousand you-know-whos,' Upen laughed without giving anything way.

23 years later, Kanishka tragedy re-enacted

Twenty-three years after 329 people perished when Air India Kaniskha Flight 182 was bombed off the Irish coast, Canadian filmmaker Sturla Gunnarsson has re-enacted the tragedy in his documentary 'Air India 182'.

Driven by a mind-numbing narrative, chilling footage, re-enactments and interviews with the loved ones of those who perished, 'Air India 182' gives this so-called 'Indian tragedy' a Canadian perspective.

Perhaps the initial Canadian reaction of not owning this aviation disaster till 9/11 was not lost on
Gunnarsson who grew up in Vancouver, where Babbar Khalsa plotted the bombing.

It enraged him that despite the fact that most victimswere Canadian citizens, the then Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroneysent his condolences to his Indian counterpart Rajiv Gandhi.

'Thenbombing of Air India had little impact on the Canadian psyche. There was no outrage. There was no debate in parliament. There was a totalsense of denial by Canadians,' Gunnarsson told at the Canadian International Documentary Festival here where his work premiered last week.

Indeed, 'Air India 182' is a very disturbing sequence of events spread over 16 hours before the bombing and the recovery operations: how two bomb-carrying suitcases were checked in at Vancouver airport by an M. Singh, how they were transferred undetected onto Air India flight 182 and another Canadian flight to Tokyo (where it was to put on an Air India flight to India), and how Flight 182 went off radar screens as it approached Ireland.

In the 16-hour timeline of the documentary, Gunnarsson squeezes in all re-enacted important events - such as the testing of bombs by plot mastermind Talwinder Singh Parmar and Inderjit Singh Reyat, wiretapping of plot conversations and their mindless erasing by the Canadian spy agency, and baggage screening machines conking out at Toronto airport that day.

But the most moving part relates to the soon-to-be victims saying a lingering last goodbye to their loved ones and their last happy moments on the plane.

The most disturbing part is the footage of recovery operations and identification of bodies in Ireland: how twisted and taut bodies were fished out of the waters by Irish rescuers who were overwhelmed and driven to tears by the magnitude of the tragedy, how one woman identified her sister by the way she wore her eyeliner, and how a woman found only one of her two young boys.

The frequent comments by Jack Hooper, retired deputy director of the Canadian spy agency (called Canadian Security Intelligence Service or CSIS), show how Canadian agencies underestimated threats by Sikh radicals despite repeated warnings by India.

And one cannot be left untouched by the remorse of check-in assistant at Vancouver airport who let an M. Singh prevail upon her to check in the bomb-carrying suits despite non-availability of a connecting flight from Tokyo.

As the filmmaker sums up, 'Air India 182' is a story of 'what could go wrong, went wrong' that fateful day.

Padmini Kolhapure to comeback with her Daughter

Padmini Kolhapure, who entered films as a child actor and later went on to give quite a few hits, is all set for a comeback of sorts with 'Daughter' and the actress says returning to movies was a natural choice.

'I have always been associated with acting from a very young age. I took a break because I wanted to have a family of my own. Now that my son has grown up, what else could I return to but acting?' Kolhapure told in an interview.

The actress, who married producer Tutu Sharma at the peak of her career, did make a brief return to films with 'Souten' in 2006, but it didn't do too well.

Kolhapure says she chose Visu Mane's small-budget film 'Daughter' because the character really appealed to her.

'My character is ...interesting. I play a married, working woman who doesn't want to have children for the sake of her career. Upset with her decision, her father-in-law adopts a baby girl. She gradually develops motherly feelings towards the baby and then wants to start her own family,' the actress explained.

She said the story highlights the 'necessity of adopting a girl child'.

'Being a woman, I know how much cheer a girl brings to a family.'

Kajol accused of being Choosy

Though hubby Ajay Devgan's directorial debut, U ME AUR HUM, may not have been a commercial success, yet, as mostly, Kajol has uniformly walked away with the accolades. In fact, even reviewers and audiences who did not like U ME AUR HUM are unanimous that Kajol is the saving grace of the movie.

Off late, Kajol has been accused of being over choosy, especially due to the uncertainty / delay regarding her signing Karan Johar's directorial venture with Shah Rukh Khan and also Raju Hirani's Aamir Khan Project. Kajol honestly admits that she is too picky as an actress. But in the same breath adds that if Mira Nair (SALAAM BOMBAY, MONSOON WEDDING etc.) offers her a comedy, she would gladly grab it without a second thought.

Well, we must confess that we agree totally with what one of Kajol's closest friend revealed last year (please do not ask us to disclose the name!) - What is interesting about Kajol is that she is capable of making statements that you do not expect from her at all!

Koena is Fuming and Fretting

Now Koena Mitra is letting off steam. Like Tanushree Dutta. And this time it's not about a bad nose job or breast enhancements. Or whatever. Koena is fuming and fretting this time about the usual suspect, the director of her forthcoming film.

Koena has refused to take part in any of the promotions for Anamika, a film in which she costars with Dino Morea and Minissha Lamba.

The model turned item girl turned actress, the steamy starlet is angry about the final product called Anamika. "It's nowhere close to what was promised to her," a sympathiser and close friend of Koena's hissed.

According to her, the director has not delivered what he promised her. "Koena has got a raw deal," she hissed again.

So while director Ananth Mahadevan has been offering Koena's cellphone number to anyone who cares to ask, and maybe those who don't care to know too, Koena refuses to take the calls for clarifications.

Koena must be really hurt and angry, but instead of just fuming and fretting, she ought to clear the air directly. Why let someone else, even if a sympathiser, fume on her behalf?

Or, just walk away to another pasture and thereby disown the film. That should settle it.

Kangana is on a Weight Losing Spree

You can never be too thin. Ask Kangana Ranaut. Recently, the waif thin actress was asked to shed three kgs for Mahesh Bhatt’s Raaz 2, which is directed by Mohit Suri.

Says a source from the production unit, “Vishesh Films categorically told Kangana that she will have to shed a few kilos to suit her character in Raaz 2. Raaz 2 is not a sequel of Raaz, where a voluptuous actress like Bipasha Basu played the lead role.”

“Kangana is on a weight losing spree as she is extremely focused on her role and is leaving no stone unturned to carry it out as convincingly as she can,” adds the source.

Raaz 2’s producer Mahesh Bhatt says, “Kangana plays a professional model who lives with her boyfriend. But then everything changes when bizarre incidents start happening in her life due to some paranormal forces. Recently, I saw a much slimmer Kangana shooting in a black dress and she looked ravishing.”

A close friend of director Mohit Suri and actress Kangana, says, “Kangana is a North Indian and is extremely fond of healthy food. She has a good appetite and eats four hearty meals every day. She was quite upset when she was asked to shed at least three kilos, which is quite surprising as she is already so thin! Although Kangana was a through professional and immediately started losing the required weight she was a little upset because she had to cut down on her meal portions to a great extent to look as thin as possible when the walks the ramp in Raaz 2.”

On her dietician Trupti Bhandari’s advice, Kangana has now started eating six small meals instead of four large ones and has also drastically cut down on her diet. She also started brisk walking and spent longer hours at the gym. She is also doing kickboxing, martial arts and yoga.

“She looked stunning after all the hard work that she put in for her look in Raaz 2,” adds the source.

Jiah Khan In Love

Jiah Khan is glowing, she is in love. And who is the shining knight in armour? Ram Gopal Varma's assistant - Kanishk Gangwal. Kanishk assisted RGV on his worst film of his career - Aag and got away with the best from it. Of late, the couple has been spotted at public places. Says a source, “Actually, Jiah has been dating Kanishk for quite some time but the two of them managed to keep under wraps. In fact, even Ramu didn't know it for a long time.” Well done Jiah! But all we want to say is - Pyaar kiya to darna kya?

Katrina Declines Rumours of Isabel Debuting Opposite Salman In Veer

Rumours of Katrina Kaif's younger sister Isabel making her acting debut in Salman Khan's Veer are baseless.A few days ago, the industry buzz was that Isabel will be making her debut in Katrina's beau's film Veer. Veer is extremely close to Salman's heart as he has also written the film's script.

While a newspaper reported about Isabel being launched opposite Salman Khan in Veer, Katrina has a different story to tell. Katrina lashed out at the reports that have been doing the rounds. She says, "I don't know from where people are getting these ideas! How can Isabel make a debut in films when she hasn't even finished her education?"

What must have sparked the rumours is that Isabel was often seen with Katrina at several film dos. Says Katrina, "She was here on a holiday during her vacations and she has gone back to London to resume her education. She hasn't even planned yet if she wants to make her career in films or elsewhere. Even if Isabel chooses to join the film industry, she will definitely not be seen in Salman's Veer."

Veer's director Anil Sharma says, "Isabel being cast for Veer was only a baseless rumour. We are still developing the script, so the question of deciding on the actress makes no sense right now. We are not even thinking on those lines yet."

The director did meet Isabel but not to sign her for his film. He says, "I have met Isabel a couple of times. She is a nice girl but there have been no talks of her doing our film. We are yet to finalise the lead actress opposite Salman."

The film's shooting will commence in August this year. Veer is Salman's first period film.

A Mindblowing Spectacle: Tashan

A blood red Mercedes convertible racily advances through Ladakh's dusty terrain, the car radio nervously shuffles between AC/DC's Highway to Hell and Mukesh's rendition of Kabhi Kabhie.

That, my readers, is a pretty solid indication of what's in store in the following 17 reels -- a crazy fusion of everything desi and phoren -- style, soul and lingo. Welcome to debutant director Vijay Krishna Acharya's land of the English-challenged fashionably quirky, where Tashan is your passport to every conceivable absurdity and You-got-to-be-kidding brand of illogical twists step on your toes at every opportunity.

Then again, both the soundtrack and its promos, never really made any bones to hide that. Like, who expects meaningful cinema from a movie which parades its leading actors in outrageous blonde wigs, flashy attires; and on top of it, makes them do a power-packed jig, in the middle of nowhere, along with hundred other colourful extras?

And so Tashan is exactly what it looks like -- a silly spectacle which goes all out to entertain. Right from its sleek black & white graphic novel-inspired opening credits to fire-breathing gun-pipes charged at the villain or cycle-rickshaw chases in the dingy lanes of Kanpur, everything is ostensibly over-the-top.
Acharya's love for the implausible, previously demonstrated in scripts like Dhoom, Dhoom 2 might not appeal to the stubbornly sensible, but those looking for a harmless VFM outing, this is, what the heck, f-u-n!

Here's a sneak peek: a call-centre employee cum English-accent trainer, Jimmy Cliff (Saif Ali Khan) is a lusty loverboy with three broken relationships to his credit. Enter fourth, namely Pooja (Kareena Kapoor ). One look at the vision-in-emerald, drenched from head to toe, is enough to send Jimmy's fantasy-driven hormones in a tizzy.

Jimmy-Pooja aside, yes, Saif and Kareena do share that extra-something in their chemistry. Frankly, it was evident in LoC-Kargil too. Only people were too busy counting the number of stars in its cast to notice. Thankfully, their off-screen togetherness doesn't overwhelm any of Tashan's proceedings.

Pooja works for Bhaiyyaji (Anil Kapoor), a wannabe yuppie gangster, flanked by two roly-poly sidekicks (Manoj Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra) who hires Jimmy or 'Gaarge Bhoos' to teach him English. What follows is a Bhaiyyaji's 'hingliarious' version of Amitabh Bachchan's iconic 'Khush toh bahut honge aaj' scene in Deewar.

The over familiarity of this gimmick begins to seep in. And the mind begins to wander -- a complete no-no for any masala potboiler. Forty minutes in the film and still no sign of Akshay Kumar, I mumble, somewhat impatiently, while taking a long glance at my watch. Take the name of the daredevil, and there he arrives, as Bachchan Pandey in all his 10-headed glory, dressed as Ravana, vroooming in an Enfield, making an entry worthy of the film's title. Bottom-line, no soon has the paisa vasool factor come in, the cribbing takes a backseat.

A multi-crore betrayal throws Bachchan, Jimmy and Pooja together in a scenario involving extensive traveling throughout the country, even as Bhaiyyaji keeps track of their trail. I won't reveal anymore. The story, even though it makes little sense, is better enjoyed than told.

What I will tell you is that Tashan moodily swings from the dark alleys of Bhaiyya's savaging and often double-meaning humour to crass exchanges between Bachchan and Pooja to characteristically 'Saif' moments every time he candidly talks to the camera.

While this inconsistency could be avoided, Tashan, still, enjoys a smooth first half. Post-interval, as is the story of many so-far-so-good capers, the momentum slacks considerably. Thanks to Bachchan's unnecessary and lengthy childhood flashback episode and two elaborate Vishal-Shekhar songs -- Falak and Dance marein, which the film could easily do without.

What it couldn't do without is the cast. It's bang on. Kareena looks every bit of a deceiving goddess, whether she walks out of the Greek waters in a lime green bikini (oh yes, it's not just buzz) or gazes seductively into Saif/Akshay's eyes. She plays the temptress with an elegant, subdued air, which makes everything she says (lingerie talk) or wears (strictly skimpy) appear tasteful.

Saif Ali Khan plays Jimmy with tremendous generosity allowing the more gregarious section of the cast take centrestage while he ably lends support. Apart from the double-barrel moustache and frumpy pants, there's nothing outlandish about his character, he's just a cool guy in an uncool situation. And Saif invented cool.

Any other actor in Anil Kapoor's place would have hammed like mad in a role that spells g-a-u-d-y. Kapoor, however, conveys the English-obsessed temperament of his character with such utter seriousness, you really don't want to argue. Also, the man plays evil with equal relish.

Saving best for the last, Akshay steals the show. It's not like he excels only in scenes centred around his earthy cockiness or charm. Even when he's just excitedly showing off his pearlies to acknowledge Bhaiyyaji or cuddling up to a sheep in the back of a truck or turning red in an attempt to profess love to his childhood sweetheart, Akshay shines. Now, if he only weren't made to scratch his you-know-what in every reel.

The Three Musketeers of this flamboyant enterprise are definitely its cinematography, action and background score. Ayananka Bose's imaginative combination of great lighting, perfect compositions, adventurous angles and penchant for flawless close-ups is truly commendable. Under Peter Hein's deft action, Akshay transforms into a charged gorilla, leaping from one wall to another in a matter of seconds. The fast-paced stunts involving all the stars, even when a bit ludicrous --like uniformly clad martial art fighters popping out from nowhere, are likely to excite any action buff. Ranjit Barot brings out the attitude of Tashan through zingy, high-voltage beats, even find a slot to merge a high-pitched Chandi mantra during the climax, true blue Bollywood style.

Ultimately, it's a lavishly-told fairy tale of three con-men, which emphasises on swagger not purpose and settles for style over substance. But if you aren't looking for the latter, Tashan is all-revelry.

Amisha Patel in Kunal Kohli's Next Movie "Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic"

Yash Raj Films and Kunal Kohli are finally out with the name of their forthcoming film starring Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan. The film is now titled Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. “We just got the title 3 or 4 days back. Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic came by as I was looking for a title that was more relevant in today’s times, something that even a lay man can relate to. The name has to go the beyond the film and should be able to express more. And when we speak of Magic, it’s not ‘jadugar’ magic. It basically, talks about the little magic we need in our lives. Say sometimes you are upset, sad, or down and that little ray of magic works things out. We all need magic in our lives and that’s what the film does. It’s like a silver lining, it’s like the magic of life”, explains Kunal Kohli.

The buzz of Ameesha being in Kunal’s film already gave rise to various rumors of her doing an item number and so on. Clearing all rumors, Kunal states, “It is not an item number. I hate the term ‘item number’ in the first place. Yes, she is doing my film but it’s not what you think. Ameesha is doing a guest appearance in the film and it’s a character role, which would also have a song. The song is not an item number but a beautiful and poetic song. She would have scenes as well; I do not believe in the concept of item numbers and do not like it being associated to my song. I asked Ameesha to do the role because the kind of character I had built, I thought she would be able to do justice to the role. I approached her, explained the role, and told her there was a song as well. What is more important is her role and not the song. When she heard the role, she was excited and agreed to do the role immediately. She basically loved her part in the film.”

So what is Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic is all about? “The film is very different from all my previous films. I do not have the same style of directing in any of my films. It’s a combination of fantasy and reality. All my films have been different, but none had fantasy as an element in it. The genre of this film is slightly different. Fantasy is interwoven with reality like in Mr. India, Krrish and Koi Mil Gaya. These films have kids but are not directed only towards kids, it could be watched by audiences of all ages. Kids now- a-days are very intelligent and you cannot talk down to them. They have to be treated with respect. My film is an entertaining Hindi film, which is for kids as well as the masses”, says Kunal.

The film’s shooting is complete and it is now into post production. Shankar Ehsaan Loy have given the music for Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic and the lyrics are by Prasoon Joshi. “The music is releasing on May 22nd or 23rd. It’s a complete mix of emotional and upbeat music. The music of my films have always been strong and interesting and SEL have done a fabulous job on this. As for Prasoon, he is extremely talented”, says Kohli.

Bips:The Cover Girl of Vogue this Summer

With everyone is digging into their ‘fifth’ standard books all over again for an upcoming TV show with SRK, we also thought of doing something that will trace your brains into something that we learnt in the fifth standards! And that’s called the ‘Degrees’.

For starters, there are three degrees: Positive, Comparative, and Superlative. For example: The Positive degree of ‘Good’ is ‘Better’ while its Superlative degree is ‘Best’.

If only we had the authority to be the Final Authority in Bollywood Grammar, then, we would have definitely positioned the degrees as follows: The positive degree of ‘Hot’ is ‘Hotter’ and its Superlative degree is not ‘hottest’ (as many of you must have thought), because it is ... BIPASHA BASU!

Yes indeed, this Bong-Bomb’s heat can even put the sun to shame! And guess what! She is doing exactly that, in the May edition of Vogue India! If her new hairstyle is something to die for, then, her deep dusky hazel dew eyes definitely serves as Oxygen!

Statutory Request: Please keep tissues ready before you buy this issue, to wipe off your sweat that this issue is bound to exude and that to when summer is in its superlative degree!

Trade analysts expects a lot of 'Tashan'

Abbas-Mastan's action thriller 'Race' has set the mood and Yash Raj Film's first release of the year, 'Tashan', seems set to reap the dividends. Experts say that the most awaited film of the year will keep the audience on the edges of their seats.

'The highlights of the film are its star cast and the packaging. It is surely going to rock,' Saurabh Varma, chief marketing officer Reliance Entertainment, told IANS on phone from Mumbai.
The action thriller stars Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and is directed by Krishna Acharya. The film will have its worldwide release Friday.

Vikas Mohan, editor of Mumbai-based trade magazine Supercinema, said: 'This is a perfect time to release the film. The holidays are starting, so people will throng the cinema halls.'
After a long time Akshay has teamed up with Saif in a film. The duo had worked together in Yash Raj's 'Yeh Dillagi' for the first time in 1994 and later featured in the hit flick 'Khiladi'.
With four hits under his belt in last year alone, Akshay is considered a bigger and more bankable name now and with his versatile performances Saif too has stronger box office prospects.

However, many feel Saif and Kareena pair would be the main highlight of the film, but Mohan differs: 'People will certainly come to see Saif and Kareena. But don't forget that the film also has Akshay, who is a bankable actor. He gave four hits last year.'

The audience, as well as the exhibitors, are eagerly awaiting the release of 'Tashan'.

The film is expected to have a good start, said Mohan and added, 'The initial earnings of the films are so good these days that most of the filmmakers recover their investments. Being a Yash Raj production, 'Tashan' will get good initials. It is a commercial film, so it will work in every centre.'
Just like 'Race', censor board has given U/A certificate to this film as well.

The story of the film goes like this:
Jimmy Cliff (Saif Ali Khan), a cool call centre executive, Bachchan Pande (Akshay Kumar), a desi-wannabe gangster and Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) are thrown together and embark on a journey to explore the spectacular India, a journey that alters the course of their lives.
And to top it all there is the evil eye of Bhaiyyaji (Anil Kapoor), a maverick gangster who enjoys killing people as much as he enjoys speaking English.

Keeping up with the Yash Raj tradition, the trailer of their next film 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', will also be unveiled with 'Tashan'.

Sanju Baba Rocks WOODSTOCK VILLA!!!

Rock star Sanjay Dutt's special video, directed by Sanjay Gupta is all set to rock the airwaves soon. The video is an intrinsic part of the plot in WOODSTOCK VILLA. Sikandar Kher makes an impressive debut with this film.

A source reveals that when director Hansal Mehta approached Sanjay Dutt for the song, he was so impressed with the song 'KYUN' composed by Aryans that he agreed to shoot for it immediately.

According to the director of WOODSTOCK VILLA Hansal Mehta, he could only see Sanjay Dutt in that particular song, since it was a crucial element in the film and through the song the twists in the story slowly unfolds. He reiterated that it is not an item number that will roll out at the end credits of the film.

Even the director felt that since Sanjay Gupta was so adept in directing songs with Sanjay Dutt, he wanted him to direct again in 'KYUN'. Incidentally all the songs shot by them together have been chartbusters, and the director is confident that 'Kyun' too will be another landmark song. The song 'Kyun' has been shot at 'Pauna Lake' near Kamshet Dam on the outskirts of Pune. One of the unit members reminisces that Sanjay Dutt was natural with the guitar chords and notes, and played it like a true pro.

Infact amongst the 3 guitars, Sanjay Dutt picked up the world's best selling electric guitar 'WASHBURN DIME'. It was a special Starfish shaped blue flame top guitar, and suited Sanjay Dutt's image to the T. And with the flowing red coat, Sanjay Dutt looked every bit of a heavy metal Rock star.

Hansal Mehta adds that "Sanjay Gupta has shot the song which has tremendous energy and style. And the way he has presented it does full justice to the song. Infact Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta bonded so well because they had similar music tastes and are music freaks."

Another unit member adds that Sanjay Dutt looked as natural as a rock star with the guitar that no wonder he had won a championship in the U S as a terrific 'Air Guitar' player." Sanjay Dutt is also known as a music freak especially into Rock, Heavy Metal and Jazz, and Blues and Soul.
No wonder than Rock star Sanjay Dutt is all set to rock in WOODSTOCK VILLA.

Sridevi in trouble as her Rs.96 mn cheques bounced

Bollywood actress Sridevi faces legal trouble as a Mumbai-based financier Wednesday moved the Supreme Court seeking her trial after her cheques worth Rs.96.6 million allegedly bounced.

Financer Madhu Gupta, the proprietress of Mumbai-based Photo Films Industries, moved the apex court challenging a Bombay High Court order, which had stalled Sridevi's trial March 26.

In her petition, Gupta told the apex court she has been supplying raw photo films and funding the film production business of Sridevi, her husband Boney Kapoor and father-in-law Surendra Kapoor.

Gupta alleged that Sridevi, to clear her debts incurred in the family's film production business, made out three cheques worth Rs.96.6 million to her in March 2007.But the bank dishonoured all three cheques as Sridevi's bank account did not have sufficient funds , alleged Gupta.

She added that she subsequently moved the Mumbai trial courts at Kurla and Girgaum for recovery of her dues from the film actress in April 2007.

On her complaints, the Mumbai courts even issued summons to Sridevi, but the film actress evaded appearing before the court by seeking repeated adjournments of the hearing on various grounds, alleged the financier.

On the other hand, Sridevi got a criminal case registered against Gupta at the Juhu police station in Mumbai, maintaining that she never issued any cheque to her and the cheques with her purported signature the financier had presented to the court appeared to be forged. Gupta said the Mumbai police after taking up the probe into the case of forgery lodged by Sridevi, approached her and demanded the copies of the cheques from her on the pretext of investigation.

But she, relying upon a Supreme Court ruling, refused to hand over the cheques to them as it would have weakened her own case, said Gupta.

Sridevi then moved the Bombay High Court for quashing the criminal proceedings launched by the Mumbai magisterial courts, said Gupta. The high court, in turn, had stalled the trial court proceedings against the film star, she said.

The female financier sought annulment of the high court's ruling in favour of Sridevi, contending that as per the existing legal provisions and various rulings of the apex court, it should sparingly use its power to annul criminal proceedings against a person.

Preity nearly loses eye, Bachchan's doctor comes to the rescue

Preity flew into Mumbai on Wednesday from her busy schedule in Mohali to record a promotional clipping for the Bachchans' Unforgettable concerts.

If you've been wondering why Preity is seen in dark glasses at all her IPL events in and out of Mohali, it's not for fashionable causes. A seemingly minor eye injury two weeks ago blew up into a serious problem for Preity Zinta. "Anything could've happened," she shudders. "At an event in Mohali, two weeks ago, a stranger's elbow jabbed into my eye. I felt the room swim. And the eye got immediately swollen. But after ice-pack treatment for hours it seemed to be in control. Little did I know what was in store."

In the next few days Preity's eye condition worsened. "The pupil acquired every colour in the rainbow, and the cornea shrank. I was in a panic. My mother was so worried. Finally, I went to a really good doctor, the same one who looks after the Bachchans' eyes. At last my eye is healed." Now Preity intends to maintain a safe distance from crowds during her public appearances in Mohali.

The Bachchans and Preity seem to be bonded in more ways than one. And the bonding gets stronger now that Preity joins them on their world tour. "I'm very fond of Jayaji and Amitji. And Abhishek is a chum. I also think Aishwarya is very cool. In fact, I'm now joining them on their world tour in July. And really looking forward to it."

Unlike the other actors like Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor who would be making appearances at selected venues, Preity will be accompanying the Bachchans throughout their 2-month tour.

Several actresses who were verbally committed to join the Bachchans chickened out with lame excuses. Putting aside her plans to return to acting after the IPL activities in July Preity decided to join the Bachchans for their world concerts.

She brushes off any suggestion of largesse. "I don't know why the other actresses aren't going. The Bachchans are my buddies. They asked me, I agreed. As simple as that. In fact, I've been on a world tour with them before and I had myself a ball. I'm looking forward to this one too. And I do not care who's going with them, or not."

What she does care about is the oncoming IPL matches in Mohali and not only for the matches. "The people there are so warm and friendly. Ness and I have begun to care for the town. See while the others in the IPL have got developed cities, we're the only ones who were given a town that's growing. And we're so proud to be part of that growth. Mohali is an air-force base so only army planes land there. There's already talk of an international airport and several luxury hotels in the town, all thanks to the IPL."

Speaking of her team's rocking music video Preity giggles, "Ram Madhvani shot our film exactly the way we wanted. Daler Mehndi captured the flavour and ethos of Punjab so wonderfully in his song. We wanted it to be about the spirit of the game and we wanted the people of Chandigarh and Mohali to participate. I made just a fleeting appearance in it. It felt good. I haven't faced the camera for some months."

Kareena says that she is not getting married for five years

Kareena Kapoor's next release is Yashraj Films' Tashan this week. "We've all worked really hard on the film. Let's hope it works. After Jab We Met, another hit wouldn't hurt."

Kareena is looking forward to another film with Saif after Omkara and Tashan. "We're doing Renzil D'Silva's film together. But it's very important to keep the personal and professional lives apart," she says with a new-found wisdom. "Both Saif and I need to concentrate on our individual careers. No marriage for me for the next five years." She also cuts down any speculation regarding her sister Karisma's comeback. "How will she work? All her attention is taken up in looking after her daughter Samaira. My niece is the apple of everyone's eyes at home…Come to think of it, the letter 'S' has always been important in my life," she laughs, referring not just to her niece Samaira but also to Shahid and Saif.

Saif was recently in Bangkok shooting an ad with Priyanka Chopra. Kareena who's known to be possessive about her loved ones was blissfully at peace with herself. "I've never been more comfortable in my space. And when I read stories about me, I can't recognise myself," Kareena sighs.

It hard for us to recognise the new ultra-svelte Kareena. Post-Jab We Met she has lost so much weight there is a ceaseless spurt of speculative stories about her weight-loss. "People are saying I want to be like Victoria Beckham. I think the talk started when Saif got himself tattooed with my name. David had done the same for Victoria. So…but honestly, I'm proud of my sculpted body. It's a look that I needed for my new film Tashan. But I haven't starved myself to look the way I'm looking these days. Why should I want to be like anyone else? I've done nothing drastic to myself. I do yoga religiously. And I'm eating like any healthy girl, thank you."

She faints with amusement at anorexic stories about her. "It was written that I fainted on the sets because I've become weak. Utter rubbish! Have these people seen me in person? I look no different from the way I looked earlier. I guess I'm just happy in life, and that shows. I haven't lost weight. I've just toned my physique and that too for a role."

If Kareena is glowing, it isn't just love. "I've right now entered the best phase of my career. Jab We Met has for sure been a turning point."

Her desire to pair with Aamir is fulfilled. "It was a dream to work with Aamir. We recently came close to working together in two films (Vishal Bhardwaj's Mr Mehta And Mrs Singh and Mani Ratnam's Lajjo). It's finally happening. As for Renzil's film, it's a stunning script. I'm doing something in it, I've never done before."

Vidya Balanto do ads for Airtel

Keeping the tradition of bringing exclusive news intact, Bollywood Hungama does yet another cracker of a news breaker. Vidya Balan has been signed as the Brand Ambassador for Airtel.

This Bollywood beauty is on a signing spree, not just on screen, but off screen as well. The news of her being the Brand Ambassador for Airtel comes just days after her being signed as the Brand Ambassador for Toshiba. Bollywood beauties bowled over by Dhoni's Charm

Indian One-Day cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's performance on the pitch and his good looks have earned him a huge female fan following, among them a bevy of Bollywood actresses. Here's what they say:

Bipasha Basu: Dhoni is great at his job and he is a good ambassador of our country. He is well groomed and I find him soft-spoken and charming. And I don't think he uses his popularity for the wrong reasons.

Esha Deol: Yup, I'd say Dhoni is terrific and he conducts himself with plenty of dignity. Right now I think he's at his best - physically fit and raring to go. I'd say he is the best sportsman in our country today.

Nandana Sen: Dhoni has great focus, speaks his mind freely. Although he is super-talented, he talks like a very regular guy. I find normalcy in superstars very attractive.

Raima Sen: Cricketers have always been more popular than stars. I feel Dhoni's main charm lies in the fact that he has become the captain of the Indian cricket team at such a young age. And then he brought the (Twenty20) Cup home. That did the trick. Success is the greatest aphrodisiac. It sure has added sex appeal to Dhoni's personality. And let's not forget his hip hairstyle. Wow!

Kangana Ranaut: I think Dhoni is hot enough to give any of our studs from Bollywod a run for their money. And since Dhoni can run faster than any of them, he has an extra edge. Of course, I find him hot. Which normal hot-blooded girl wouldn't?

Minissha Lamba: In any industry, whether it is cinema or cricket, we need to focus on people's achievements rather than wonder how far their sex appeal goes. Success is sexy. And everyone has the right to look his best. But physical beauty shouldn't be allowed to eclipse the value of his real personality or the fact that he has put the country on the international sports map.

Mona Singh: I find Dhoni super hot. He not only looks good but plays well too. And he is a superb captain.

Divya Dutta: Oh, I find Dhoni very hot, specially his passion for living on the edge, not playing safe or getting tense while taking crucial decisions. He is so full of energy. And he is a fabulous cricketer. Of course, the bare chest is the icing on the cake.

Gul Panag: Dhoni? Ha! He's a heady mix of good looks, success and power.

Amrita Arora: Yes, he's hot, but only as a player, please. His good personality teamed with being an excellent player makes him a force to reckon with.

Perizaad Zorabian: The fact that Dhoni comes from a small town and has beaten all odds to make it big makes him very sexy. He comes across as determined, calm, confident and no-nonsense. He takes pride in who he is. These qualities make him stand apart in a world of self-promoting wannabes.

Does Hrithik & Abhishek have lot in Common?

Not all stars takes the glamour and glory of Bollywood for granted.

Some are passionate enough to learn about the finer aspects of filmmaking before facing the camera.

There is a hefty list of actors who previously worked as assistants or production-in-charge till stardom beckoned.

We start with Bollywood's new kid Harman, son of filmmaker Harry Baweja.

The handsome aspirant, often linked to co-star Priyanka Chopra and likened to Hrithik Roshan for his appearance, makes his big screen debut with the sci-fi caper, Love Story 2050.

Even before, however, he worked in the production team on his dad's productions like Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai and Karam.

Hum Aapke Hai Kaun Sequel to be made?

The sequel bug seems to have bitten Sooraj Barjatya.

According to sources, the filmmaker may make a sequel to his huge blockbuster, Hum Aapke Hai Koun...?

HAHK, starring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit , had made history when it ran for more than five years in theatres, and is one of the biggest hits Hindi cinema has ever produced.

Barjatya seems to have roped in Salman for the sequel already, and the actor is quite pleased to star in it. After all, Salman has always said that he could never say no to a Rajshri production because the Barjatyas were the first to give him a break as a hero in Maine Pyaar Kiya. The film went on to become one of Salman's big hits, and made him a star overnight.

The HAHK sequel will also star the Vivah couple, Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao .

Madhuri has been offered a role in the film too but it is unclear whether the actress will take it up.

Farah Khan waiting to make the Right Move

Director-choreographer Farah Khan must be experiencing mixed feelings right now.

While she is busy mothering her sweet little triplets, there are other choreographers helping Shah Rukh with his dance steps.

For Priyadarshan’s Billoo Barber, a product of SRK’s production house, it’s Pony Verma who is choreographing all the dances in the movie.

“It’s probably the first time that Farah Khan isn’t choreographing for a Shah Rukh film,” informs a unit member. But the new mom isn’t complaining, and may also silently be planning a quick and effective comeback!

Darsheel Safary: The New Brand Ambassador of Horlicks

After his heart-warming performance as Ishaan Awasthy in Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par, child-wonder Darsheel Safary is in demand. The actor is yet to sign his next project but has been getting many film and endorsement offers.

The latest is that Darsheel has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Horlicks. Bollywood Hungama got in touch with Darsheel's business manager to get some more details. "Yes, Darsheel has signed a deal with Horlicks. He is their ambassador. He has been drinking Horlicks since he was 3 years old and really loves the drink. So the moment he got this offer, he was very excited to be a part of it. He has already shot for a promo film directed by Vivek Kamath which is already on air", she informs.

So has Darsheel signed any other endorsement or film deal? , "No, nothing as of now except Horlicks. There are some things which are in the process and yet to be worked out. He hasn't even signed any film as of now." clarifies Darsheel's business manager.

Well, after his spectacular debut…we just can't wait to see more of this child prodigy.

Arbaaz puzzled to see thrie marriage matter on front page

Arbaaz and Malaika Khan's rather ugly run-in with the monstrous after-shocks of over-exuberant product-marketing seems to have left the Khan family deeply affected. Known to be deeply conservative the Khans are extremely upset with Malaika and Arbaaz. "They feel it was wrong that we should've let them read about our little campaign instead of taking the family into confidence. In fact my parents clearly said, 'If we knew you two were going to be part of such a gimmick we'd have never allowed you to.' I never thought I'd ever get into something that would turn so ugly," sighs Arbaaz.

So far the Khan family has one child as a favourite child of controversy. "Salman doesn't care what is written about him. I'm not that kind of a guy. I'm very particular about the way I conduct myself especially about my marriage. Suddenly, I find myself fighting a lonely battle to redeem my wife and my image."

To compound the Khans' problems the multi-national company which conceived and implemented the queer campaign has completely washed its hands off the matter….a direct echo of what happened to the Roshans when the cell-phone company which goofed up in its communication system with the copyright ownership issue of Ram Sampat's tune decided to steer clear of their celebrity clients' troubles. "It's not just my name that's being affected, it's my wife's name too, and that I won't tolerate," Arbaaz says angrily days after the media reacted violently to the couple's gimmicky marital-discord campaign that hit the headlines last week.

Says Arbaaz, "My wife and I have been called publicity hounds and our little child has also been dragged into the matter when all we did was to go along with the multi-national's campaign. Is compliance a crime? Then we're guilty. And I apologize. I'm not the kind of a guy who gets defensive after doing something goes wrong. And this situation has definitely gone wrong."

What Arbaaz cannot fathom is why a section of the media chose to highlight the false story on a marriage breakup. "Neither Malaika nor I ever said we were splitting. It was the cosmetic company which put out a yarn about me re-marrying. From there some media persons let their imagination run riot. Since when is our marriage a matter of front-page interest?"

Dad Bachchan Tells Aish-Abhi to Behave Properly

It was a wonderful idea well-implemented. The unveiling of the first look Sarkaar Raj to the media and selected guests on Sunday evening..

Unfortunately, though not surprisingly, the focus of the event shifted somewhat from the film to the couple of the evening Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan who celebrated their first wedding anniversary the same evening and were on video-conference from Miami talking to the press.

During the interaction, Big B had to 'warn' the duo to 'behave themselves' as they cosied up before the video camera. "I see you doing some khusur fusur. There is the media here watching you," the superstar told the couple. Naturally mediapersons got more interested in the couple's anniversary plans than their take on the film. In fact Aishwarya was quizzed as much about Shankar's Robot and Karan Johar's Dostana as Sarkaar Raj.

But Ramu didn't seem to mind. He was just thrilled to be the first filmmaker to bring his film's stars to the media via satellite.

"In fact," joked Ramu. "This could set a new precedent. Stars could now refuse to show up for film events and just speak to the media from home."

The couple said that they had begun their day seeking blessings of their respective parents.

"My father's best gift to me has been his blessings and his acceptance of the lady I wanted to marry a year ago," Abhishek said.

Ash said both she and Abhishek had gifted each other 'togetherness' for a lifetime. Mr Bachchan seemed extremely pleased with the outcome. "The event was just so enthralling. The film, the promo and most of all the children (Abhishek and Aishwarya) live from Miami with us on this a very auspicious day, their anniversary. It was a personal moment and yet so public."
