Kareena Kapoor-Imran Khan-Filmfare
Kareena Kapoor may be dating Saif Ali Khan but she seems to have been impressed by new kid on the block- Imran Khan.
It all started at the 54th Idea Filmfare awards night where she just could not take her eyes off Imran Khan. Imran had put up an excellent show with his co-star Ranbir Kapoor that won many hearts.
Kareena was really quick to express her desire to act with Imran there after. And soon after that director Sanjay Gadhvi announced his desire to cast Kareena and Imran in his next project.
It promises to be a magical combination with Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan and Sanjay Gadhvi who is the maker of the Dhoom Series.

Imraan Matches Minisha in an Underwater Sequence in Kidnap
Minissha Lamba is a water baby which is clear from the promos of Kidnap. But who would have thought Imran Khan would parallel his co-star while they were shooting for the film in Mauritius?
It seems Imran and Minissha have shot a chilling underwater sequence in the film, which is among the highlights of the film and also the point when she gets kidnapped. Both the actors rehearsed for the scene for almost a fortnight before taking the 'dive!
Confirms director Sanjay Gadhvi, "We trained in Mumbai in a pool. It was an elaborate shoot with a dedicated underwater DOP and a standby team of divers for rescue. I've used the same underwater specialists as the ones used in Dhoom:2. While shooting the scene I was on the boat watching the shot on the monitor, which was attached to the underwater camera by cables. We had special communication equipment through which Imran and Minissha could hear me say 'action' and 'cut' while they were underwater."
Seems like this is among the many chills and thrills Kidnap has to offer.

Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak play on screen parents of Imran Khan
You are always comfortable to act with people you know. No wonder why, Imran found it easy to act in Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. His best friend's (Imaad) parents Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak play his on screen parents.
For the first time in their career, Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah are coming together as husband and wife in the film, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. Last time we saw them together was in the film, Mirch Masala in 1987 but they were not paired opposite each other.
Ratna Pathak Shah's role has been actually modeled on Nuzhat Khan, Imran's real life mother. The relationship that mother son share is more like friends like in his real life. Interestingly, Imaad and Imran have grown up together sharing birthday cakes and clothes and now they share their parents. Imaad too had recently made his debut in his father's directorial debut film, Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota.
Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah readily agreed to play Imran's parents in his debut film and extended their real life relationship to reel life especially for him.

Aamir Promotes "JAANE TU YA JAANE NA"
Aamir Khan has thought of an innovative teaser theatrical trailer to promote and launch his nephew Imran Khan. It is 2.5-minute trailer that actually takes tongue in check dig at all star launches and all the hoopla over well toned muscular bodies; including him as everyone is aware that he has the best body in town for his look in Ghajini. It shows as a huge well-toned muscular guy with all trimmings of a theatrical launch, only to reveal the real Imran Khan who is a boy next door as his character in the film. Aamir Khan Production's third production, after Lagaan and Taare Zameen Par, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na is the launch vehicle of Imran Khan, Aamir Khan's nephew. Nasirsahib, who is Imran Khan's grandfather, launched Aamir Khan in QSQT.
Aamir Khan has been taking very keen interest in smallest details of the promotion of the film. In fact, he is personally looking into the smallest details of the promotion even though he is completely entrenched in shooting for a crucial portion of Ghajini in Hyderabad.
"Jaane Tu… as a film has a very young idiom, the language and the tone of the film is very tongue in cheek. We wanted the teaser to reflect the same irreverence in attitude," says Abbas Tyerwala, the director of the film.
