After Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan, it’s junior Bachchan who is all set to take the help of a tattoo express his love for the charming wife-Aishwarya Rai. Abhishek is planning to declare his feelings for wife Aishwarya Rai by getting her name tattooed on his wrist.

While Saif got ‘Kareena’ tattooed on his arm, Abhi seems to following Hrithik’s way of doing it for Suzanne, for he too wants to get it done on the wrist for Ash. Abhishek, who is busy shooting for ‘Ravana’ plans to get the tattoo done as soon as he returns to Mumbai.

Love Aaj Kal beats Ghajini

Saif-Deepika starrer ‘Love Aaj Kal’, which opened to packed houses all over, has reached the top slot in many places beating ‘Ghajini’. ‘Love Aaj Kal’ has released in over 1,800 screens and has reportedly taken over the highest grosser of 2008-‘Ghajini’.

The film has taken a superb initial and the opening is at par with ‘Ghajini’. The film is being expected to soon emerge as one of biggest hits in the overseas market as well.

Love Aaj Kal seems to have impressed the youth croud for its contemporary approach to love relationships in urban India, where the characters are not hesitant about calling off their relationship to chase their personal goals.

Well, with the way Love Aaj Kal is heading, it seems that Saif Ali Khan is surely emerging as the No 1 Khan.

Saif Ali Khan to Kareena Kapoor’s help

With mystery still of the famous Kareena-Shahid split still in news, the idea of watching a jilted love triangle based on Kareena-Shahid and Saif onscreen did stir interest among audiences. But Chhote Nawab did not seem to be keen on the concept. Unlike Kareena Kapoor and her ex-beau Shahid, who kept their silence on the subject, Saif Ali Khan has lashed out at filmmakers trying to capitalise on Kareens’s love life.

Passionate as ever on Bebo’s matter, the actor is breathing fire on news that his lady’s love life has influenced a movie ‘Secret Life of Kareena’.

Appalled and strangely amused, Saif said, "I am a little upset that my character is called Saifee. It should have had a cooler name, Sameer or something like that. But honestly, on a more serious note, it can be very offensive for Kareena. I think it is a tasteless thing to do, trying to get excitement and publicity based on Kareena’s life. Abroad, people do write tacky stories based on celebrities’ lives, but this is India. I think that’s not funny at all. I am half amused and half disgusted."

Out to clear all controversies, the actor also denied reports suggesting that he had undergone Botox treatment to get that younger look for his debut production ‘Love Aaj Kal’. "

Kareena Kapoor irrks Deepika Padukone

Bollywood can get so weird sometimes. Surprisingly, the much-talked-about film Love Aaj Kal has been in the news more for Kareena Kapoor's absence than for Deepika Padukone’s presence . It could be because Saif Ali Khan, who produces and plays the lead role was expected to rope in his real life girlfriend and not Deepika.

Deepika is irked by the talks on Kareena's exclusion from the film. She has told her friends that Love Aaj Kal should be dedicated to Kareena. Deepika did confirm that it must be the first time in the history of cinema that a leading lady is being talked about so much for not being in the film.

However, Deepika is not annoyed with Kareena for drawing all the attention. She is sure that people will start talking about her once the film is released. She revealed that Imtiaz Ali was sure that she should act in the film and offered her the role even before the release of her debut film Om Shanti Om.

Deepika understands Saif-Kareena situation quite well. She said that it's natural for Saif to be very keen on casting his ladylove Kareena in his home production. She added that she would be disappointed if she were in Kareena's place, as she too wants to act with her beau Ranbir Kapoor.

Ranbir-Farhan in place of Ajay-Saif in Aparna Sen’s ‘Gulel’

Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar will be teaming up for their next venture. Both the actors have been roped in for Aparna Sen’s Hindi directorial debut- Gulel.

The film was to go on floors earlier with Ajay Devgan and Saif Ali Khan. Both the actors backed out of the project, and Ranbir and Farhan have been taken on board in place.

After Ranbir was confirmed for ‘Gulel’, Aparna was of the perception that she needed a more jolie actor to take Saif’s place and she chose thought of Farhan. Farhan was initially not keen on doing the film but finally arpana was able to convince her.

Lovebirds Saif-Kareena set to rock in "Race 2"

Director Abbas Mustan was well on his way to cancel the sequel of 2008 blockbuster film- Race. As the producer- director duo had certain issues to be resolved. When Saif got to know about producer Ramesh Taurani’s decision, he made Taurani understand that the Abbas’s track record of giving hits with thrillers was good enough reason for them to direct Race 2. Finally the matter was put back on track.

Confirming the news, Saif Ali Khan said, “Abbas-Mustan understands the pulse of the plot. Race was a fast-paced action-adventure caper. Not too many filmmakers in Bollywood would’ve done such a wonderful job of it.”

And what’s more, his ladylove Kareena Kapoor co-stars with him in the sequel and Saif wants to ensure that the film is a success. Race had both Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif opposite him. However, in Race 2 Katrina’s character is shown as dead and Bipasha’s has been removed from the script to make way for Kareena.

Saif confirms the fact that Kareena will be part of Race 2. He is very happy about the film and his pairing with his real life sweetheart.

Race 2 has to be bigger and larger than Race. It promises to have many more twists that race had.

Deepika Padukone miffed with Chotte Miyan 'Saif Ali Khan'

Deepika Padukone’s rising fame in Bollywood is akin to a fairy tale story. Coming straight from the modeling circuit, Deepika might be just a few flicks old but this lissome actress has taken Bollywood world by a storm.

Roadside Romeo shortened to meet Deadline

If the latest rumours is taken a note of, the duration of the next Yashraj Films presentation Roadside Romeo has been shortened because the production house wants to meet the deadline of its release.

Since the animation movie has been made in collaboration with Disney Studios, the YRF are under pressure to churn out a decent product and also meet the October 24 deadline for its release.

Directed by Jugal Hansraj, ‘Roadside Romeo’ has been through its share of hurdles from the start. The buzz is that the film’s creative team was changed mid-way and now the YRF has cut short its length so that the film could hit the theatres on the scheduled date.

In fact, grapevine has it that Disney Studios are irked by this step and might impose a fine on Yashraj Films for deducting the length of the film.

‘Roadside Romeo’ has Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor lending their voices to the animated characters of a romantic dog and a glamorous bitch. Javed Jaffrey plays the villainous character who wants to foil their love story.

The movie has music by Vishal Shekhar and it’s going to be the grand attraction for Diwali.

Kareena made her Birthday Unique and Special

On the eve of Kareena's 28th birthday, her mom Babita suggested that she should make it really special. Not only did she have Saif accompanying her in the cold climates of north India, but she also got the opportunity to share her birthday with the numerous Jawans who were present at Kargil. Work keeps the lovebirds way on Kareena's Birthday

Saif-Kareena escaped Narrowly

As four explosions ripped through the Karol Bagh Market, Kailash Market and Connaught Place in New Delhi on Saturday, killing many and injuring dozens of others, B-Town's favourite couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor who were also in the capital, were unscathed. While Saif has been there for a recce of his untitled home production (Illuminati Films) directed by Imtiaz Ali (shooting starts September 16), Kareena was there for a ribbon-cutting event of a newly launched spa.

When we contacted Saif and Kareena on Saturday night, they were having dinner at the ITC Maurya Sheraton (where they are staying) on Sardar Patel Marg at the Diplomatic Enclave, they were having dinner. A visibly disturbed Saif says, "We are deeply hurt and very worried about what's been happening all around us."

Saif adds that though they are also nervous about stepping out anywhere because of the blasts they were physically unhurt. "No harm has come to us. We are fine. Even my shooting was to start from December 16 at various places and we hope to go on schedule as planned," Saif signs off. Kareena, who was in the capital for a day, left for Ladakh yesterday to shoot for Raj Kumar Hirani's 3 Idiots.

Kareena upset with too much of Speculations

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor says that she doesn't like the endless attention people give to her relationship with actor Saif Ali Khan and that most of the stories are untrue.

'There're so many false stories about Saif and me. But it's okay. I understand the need to know what's going in our lives. Are we married... are we not married? Please! Fortunately, I've learnt to take all this unwanted speculation in my stride. The best thing is to just do my work and not get affected by the loose talk,' Kareena told.


She doesn't like comparing her love life with work and said: 'When I'm working, I'm working. And when I'm with him (Saif), I'm all there.'

Saif -The Ideal Nawab

Saif Ali Khan is said to be the ideal choice for the Nawab in Sudhir Mishra's period drama The Nawab The Nautch Girl & The Johns Company. This is Saif's second period film after Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Parineeta, where he played the rich man's son opposite Vidya Balan to perfection.

Mishra who is currently making his version of Devdas titled Aur Devdas, has penned another period piece titled The Nawab The Nautch Girl & The Johns Company.

Says Mishra, "I've written a black comedy The Nawab The Nautch Girl & The Johns Company. Only Saif will suit the role of the nawab.

In fact, I don't think I can make it without him."

The film which will be a big project with a budget of around Rs 40 - 50 lakh will require an actor of Saif's skills, according to Mishra. Set in 1857 Lucknow, the story is about a a Nawab called Lafaaz who's partly inspired by Wajid Ali Shah and partly by Bahadur Shah Zafar.

Adds Mishra, "The character of the nawab must have strength and vulnerability at the same time. He must also have an easy boyish charm and regality that's so inherent to Saif."

The Nawab in Mishra's costume drama creates a myth about him self and starts believing in it. But, why Lucknow for a story based on the Mughal era?

Says Mishra, "Even before I started Devdas, I wanted to make an opulent epic drama and Lucknow seemed like the perfect setting since it's a place I know like the back of my hand."

Chitrangada Singh, who is a fantastic dancer, will play the nautch girl in the film. Talk about a sizzling pair for a period drama!


No wonder Saif readily agreed when Mishra approached him with the film. Mishra adds, "He was extremely kicked about the project and even wanted to produce it. Let's see what happens."

Saif retaliates to Rozza's Blames

Saif Ali Khan is pretty well-placed in life now. He just spent quality time with his two kids, his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor has flown down to London to be by his side and his first film as a producer is shaping up steadily.

But Saif grumbles that his happiness is marred by people who insist on talking about his private life. And, for once, he isn’t referring to the media. He’s talking about his ex-girlfriend Rozza Catalano.

Recently, Rozza talked about how Saif had cheated on her. Saif retaliates, “People are feeding off me by selling sob stories. I wish people would stop making a living by talking about me constantly. I’ve never spoken about them. Why are they ceaselessly speaking about me?” Saif says, obviously referring to his ex-girlfriend Rozza Catalano’s outburst against him.

Prod him about Rozza’s salvo about Saif having hidden his children from her when they first met, and Saif is quick to retort, “I’ve never hidden anything from anyone. I’ve never even lied about anything. My children are, by far, my proudest accomplishment. Why would I hide them?”

Meanwhile, Saif is growing increasingly comfortable in current girlfriend Kareena’s space, making an effort to be friendly with all the people who matter to her.

What’s more Kareena has joined him in London. Says Saif, “She’s for all practical purposes our hostess here. She’s fully in charge of the social commitments. She supervises the menu for dinners, makes sure everyone is well looked after.

This is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to observe this hospitable nurturing side of her personality. I’ve never felt happier in my life.”

Our wait to know the title of Kunal Kohli’s forthcoming film starring Saif and Rani for the Yash Raj banner has finally ended! Kunal Kohli’s next film is ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’,a film that will revolve around Saif - a rich man, four orphan kids and Rani- the angel who comes in their lives to help them get rid of their worries.

I eagerly attended the exclusive screening of the film’s ‘first look’, and was relieved to see that the film didn’t bear any resemblance to Mary Poppins or Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke as was reported by many publications.

The film in fact reveals how four orphan kids are forced to shift to Saif Ali Khan’s mansion in spite of them hating him and vice versa! Saif even makes it clear that if it wasn’t for the court’s orders he too wouldn’t let the kids stay with him! In their troubled lives nothing seems to look positive until Rani, the angel arrives... what she does and what is the actual relationship that Saif shares with the kids is what the film all about...

On declaring the title Kunal said, “When we encounter problems, we feel the need for someone to come and help us! We want a magic to happen. We need an angel! Thus my film is called what it is called. What inspired me to make the film was the fact that families are not made by birth but by love and this is the love that the characters in my film share. Also as you saw in the promo, it is not even loosely inspired by Mary Poppins.”

He further added, “Thoda Pyaar Thhoda Magic’ is not a fairy tale as the family in the film is very real. The kids are not filmy with gel in their hair! In fact three of the four kids have never even faced the camera before! They are like the Mr. India children. I was inspired by Mr. India and it was not a children’s film.”

Talking about his debut as a co-producer, Kunal elaborated, “After a while you want to progress, earn a little more money and you do feel that you should be able to own the product you make. I told Adi about it and he said why not begin with this film?”

Kunal concluded his brief chat to me by saying, “I’ll give you more information when the film releases on 27th June and the music on 23rd May.”

The Saif-Rani banter in Hum Tum hooked us completely and we hope they create some more magic on screen with their awesome chemistry once again!

Not Like This -Bebo

It was a Pakistani fan of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor who leaked the information about trouble in paradise. Kareena was in Bangkok where she was to perform at an awards function.The guy was waiting near Kareena Kapoor’s van to get an autograph from the couple. Saif arrived at the event at about 6 pm and went straight into the van and was there with Kareena for about three hours. This Pakistani fan, heard Saif complaining to Kareena about her outfit she was planning to wear for her performance. Kareena kept on pacifying Saif asking him not to make an issue of it. Saif, it is learnt, did not want Kareena to wear a revealing outfit for her performance at the event.”

Thereafter, Saif, Kareena and Babita Kapoor came out of the van and went straight for the actress’s performance. All eyes were on Saif while Kareena was performing but he certainly did not appear to be in a good mood. After the performance, the two of them returned to the van. Saif stepped out of the van after some time, Kareena followed him and was seen pleading to Saif to stay back but the actor did not care. He got into the car and left.

Apparently, Saif and Kareena have been having problems in their relationship and it is more from Saif’s side than Kareena’s. Saif has got a little touchy and extremely possessive about Kareena and has begun restricting the actress and objecting to a lot of things that she does. Kareena is someone who has always lived her life on her terms and needs her space and Saif is someone who is just the opposite.

Reportedly, Kareena was not even aware of Saif’s arrival, a media person who was present at the event said, “It did look like Kareena was not even aware about Saif arriving in Bangkok. When she was quizzed about Saif’s arrival, Kareena said, “So sweet of him naa, he is coming all the way from London for me.” Now this is very unlike Kareena.
