Lovebirds Saif-Kareena set to rock in "Race 2"

Director Abbas Mustan was well on his way to cancel the sequel of 2008 blockbuster film- Race. As the producer- director duo had certain issues to be resolved. When Saif got to know about producer Ramesh Taurani’s decision, he made Taurani understand that the Abbas’s track record of giving hits with thrillers was good enough reason for them to direct Race 2. Finally the matter was put back on track.

Confirming the news, Saif Ali Khan said, “Abbas-Mustan understands the pulse of the plot. Race was a fast-paced action-adventure caper. Not too many filmmakers in Bollywood would’ve done such a wonderful job of it.”

And what’s more, his ladylove Kareena Kapoor co-stars with him in the sequel and Saif wants to ensure that the film is a success. Race had both Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif opposite him. However, in Race 2 Katrina’s character is shown as dead and Bipasha’s has been removed from the script to make way for Kareena.

Saif confirms the fact that Kareena will be part of Race 2. He is very happy about the film and his pairing with his real life sweetheart.

Race 2 has to be bigger and larger than Race. It promises to have many more twists that race had.

Saif-Kareena in Life in a Metro 2

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been approached to star in the sequel of Life in a Metro by the Director Anurag Basu. Anurag who is currently shooting for the Hrithik Roshan starrer Kites is looking forward for the project.

Anurag Basu had busted into the scene with Life in A Metro. The movie was a huge success and it also made Irrfan Khan a household name. Saif and Kareena had been approached for the sequel of the movie but it is yet to be seen if they will accept to be a part of the movie or not.

Well if the couple agree, It could just turn out as one of the most awaited movie.

Saif-Kareena soon to tie the Marriage Knot

Work keeps the lovebirds way on Kareena's Birthday

Kareena Kapoor will be celebrating her 28th birthday on September 21 but it is sad that her beau will not be with her to give her company as he will be shooting in Delhi, Rajasthan and Patiala for his home production and she will be in Ladakh shooting with Aamir Khan for Raju Hirani's 3 Idiots. Work will keep the two love souls away on that day.

Soon after that Bebo will be heading to Tuscany for Sajid Nadiad-wala's Kambakht Ishq. In spite of their wish, the duo can’t help to remain together.

Saif has asked his sister Saba Ali Khan to design an exquisite jewelry piece for Bebo. As the piece need to be too attractive and gorgeous, Saba has taken one month more time from bro Saif to design it and confirmed that it will get ready by Oct.

Saif-Kareena escaped Narrowly

As four explosions ripped through the Karol Bagh Market, Kailash Market and Connaught Place in New Delhi on Saturday, killing many and injuring dozens of others, B-Town's favourite couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor who were also in the capital, were unscathed. While Saif has been there for a recce of his untitled home production (Illuminati Films) directed by Imtiaz Ali (shooting starts September 16), Kareena was there for a ribbon-cutting event of a newly launched spa.

When we contacted Saif and Kareena on Saturday night, they were having dinner at the ITC Maurya Sheraton (where they are staying) on Sardar Patel Marg at the Diplomatic Enclave, they were having dinner. A visibly disturbed Saif says, "We are deeply hurt and very worried about what's been happening all around us."

Saif adds that though they are also nervous about stepping out anywhere because of the blasts they were physically unhurt. "No harm has come to us. We are fine. Even my shooting was to start from December 16 at various places and we hope to go on schedule as planned," Saif signs off. Kareena, who was in the capital for a day, left for Ladakh yesterday to shoot for Raj Kumar Hirani's 3 Idiots.

Kareena upset with too much of Speculations

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor says that she doesn't like the endless attention people give to her relationship with actor Saif Ali Khan and that most of the stories are untrue.

'There're so many false stories about Saif and me. But it's okay. I understand the need to know what's going in our lives. Are we married... are we not married? Please! Fortunately, I've learnt to take all this unwanted speculation in my stride. The best thing is to just do my work and not get affected by the loose talk,' Kareena told.


She doesn't like comparing her love life with work and said: 'When I'm working, I'm working. And when I'm with him (Saif), I'm all there.'

Saif retaliates to Rozza's Blames

Saif Ali Khan is pretty well-placed in life now. He just spent quality time with his two kids, his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor has flown down to London to be by his side and his first film as a producer is shaping up steadily.

But Saif grumbles that his happiness is marred by people who insist on talking about his private life. And, for once, he isn’t referring to the media. He’s talking about his ex-girlfriend Rozza Catalano.

Recently, Rozza talked about how Saif had cheated on her. Saif retaliates, “People are feeding off me by selling sob stories. I wish people would stop making a living by talking about me constantly. I’ve never spoken about them. Why are they ceaselessly speaking about me?” Saif says, obviously referring to his ex-girlfriend Rozza Catalano’s outburst against him.

Prod him about Rozza’s salvo about Saif having hidden his children from her when they first met, and Saif is quick to retort, “I’ve never hidden anything from anyone. I’ve never even lied about anything. My children are, by far, my proudest accomplishment. Why would I hide them?”

Meanwhile, Saif is growing increasingly comfortable in current girlfriend Kareena’s space, making an effort to be friendly with all the people who matter to her.

What’s more Kareena has joined him in London. Says Saif, “She’s for all practical purposes our hostess here. She’s fully in charge of the social commitments. She supervises the menu for dinners, makes sure everyone is well looked after.

This is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to observe this hospitable nurturing side of her personality. I’ve never felt happier in my life.”

Not Like This -Bebo

It was a Pakistani fan of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor who leaked the information about trouble in paradise. Kareena was in Bangkok where she was to perform at an awards function.The guy was waiting near Kareena Kapoor’s van to get an autograph from the couple. Saif arrived at the event at about 6 pm and went straight into the van and was there with Kareena for about three hours. This Pakistani fan, heard Saif complaining to Kareena about her outfit she was planning to wear for her performance. Kareena kept on pacifying Saif asking him not to make an issue of it. Saif, it is learnt, did not want Kareena to wear a revealing outfit for her performance at the event.”

Thereafter, Saif, Kareena and Babita Kapoor came out of the van and went straight for the actress’s performance. All eyes were on Saif while Kareena was performing but he certainly did not appear to be in a good mood. After the performance, the two of them returned to the van. Saif stepped out of the van after some time, Kareena followed him and was seen pleading to Saif to stay back but the actor did not care. He got into the car and left.

Apparently, Saif and Kareena have been having problems in their relationship and it is more from Saif’s side than Kareena’s. Saif has got a little touchy and extremely possessive about Kareena and has begun restricting the actress and objecting to a lot of things that she does. Kareena is someone who has always lived her life on her terms and needs her space and Saif is someone who is just the opposite.

Reportedly, Kareena was not even aware of Saif’s arrival, a media person who was present at the event said, “It did look like Kareena was not even aware about Saif arriving in Bangkok. When she was quizzed about Saif’s arrival, Kareena said, “So sweet of him naa, he is coming all the way from London for me.” Now this is very unlike Kareena.

Saif's World- Kareena & only Kareena

That's Saif Ali Khan for you. The guy believes in going the full hog when it comes to his lovelife. These days his love and his life are both Kareena Kapoor. It seems that he is not very happy about Kareena not being a part of his maiden production.

After the release of Jab We Met, Saif was believed to have been very impressed by director Imtiaz Ali and wanted to work with him. Soon, thereafter, Saif launched his own production house and he signed Imtiaz to direct the first film to come out of his banner. Sriram Raghavan is to direct the next, which is titled Agent Vinod and is supposed to be an espionage thriller. At that time, Saif gave his director the final say in casting and Imtiaz chose Deepika Padukone. But it seems that Saif is having second thoughts about it. He would have preferred to have been cast opposite Kareena in the maiden film of his banner as well. He believes now that he should have probably insisted on working with Bebo. If it happened today, that's what would be his answer. In fact, today, he would rather go with Kareena, Imtiaz be dammed. The second film to roll out from Saif's production house, Agent Vinod, however, does feature Kareena. So that should be some consolation for the Chhote Nawab.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's On Screen Chemistry to be Seen Again

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's chemistry in Tashan might not have translated into box-office success, but filmmakers are definitely not giving up on the pair.

The duo not only has been signed up for Karan Johar's film to be directed by Renzil D'souza, they will also be working in Ashtavinayak's next film, which will go on the floors by May 2009.

Our source says, "Kareena is extremely comfortable working with Ashtavinayak. She is has also signed a three-film contract with them after Jab We Met."

Bebo is already working in Ashtavinayak's Golmaal Returns. Now, the production house has signed her and Saif for their next film which is an action-comedy.

It looks like this partnership works both ways - Bebo is quite fond of the production house, and even Ashtavinayak swears by her professionalism.

Kareena, we hear, was keen on working with boyfriend Saif in an action-comedy after Tashan. So, when Ashtavinayak made the offer, she readily took it up. However, the director of the film is yet to be finalised.

When contacted, Saif and Kareena's business manager Zahid Khan confirms and says, "Yes we are in the final stages of sealing the deal with Ashtavinayak. This will be Kareena's third film with them after Jab We Met and Golmaal Returns."

Kareena remembers her old days with Shahid

It had to happen sooner or later. Most of their friends said it would be sooner. “Two volatile souls like Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor can never last together,” a close friend of Kareena had whispered when she wasn’t listening.

The ‘inevitable’ has happened. There are cracks in the perfect passion already. If rumours floating out of the couple’s friendly circle are to be believed, Kareena and Saif are constantly having problems, and it isn’t Saif’s fault, really. Not yet.

Saif is constantly crowding her for attention. Nowadays, if you see him on his cellphone, which is most of the time, he’s only talking to Kareena. Saif has stopped communicating almost completely with all his family and friends. He never was someone to call up his parents.

Now even his mother doesn’t hear from him for weeks. Soha of course, never heard from him anyway. So that’s no different. In fact, when Soha heard that her brother was at the premiere of Saawariya (with Kareena, of course) she said, “I wish I knew, I could’ve met him.”

Dropping all communication with the rest of the world Saif has now found himself a constant preoccupation. Keeping tabs on the love of his life, and accompanying her to events all over the country which have nothing to do with him.

Kareena likes her space. She’s very giving in love, but doesn’t want her man to constantly question her. That’s what Saif is doing. She gets what-are-you-doing where-are-you calls from Saif throughout the day. Initially she enjoyed all the attention.

Who wouldn’t? But now it’s began to take its toll on her nerves. More than Kareena, it’s her mother Babita who’s worried and angry that Saif’s ceaseless trailing may affect her career.”

Friends say, Kareena has asked her beau to back off a bit. Quite a bit.

But Saif is Saif. When he’s in love he’s nothing else. Ironically, he used to complain about Rozza’s constant attention. Today he’s behaving exactly the way that put him off her for good.

Hounding Kareena with his attention. She can’t help remember Shahid’s laidback easy-does-it gentle attention.

So where does the relationship stand? “Well… it’s a little shaky. But nothing alarming yet. All Saif needs to do is give Bebo the space to find her pace.

Otherwise he’d have to get another girlfriend with a name similar to Kareena so he can get the tattoo re-done without too much pai.

Recently the hot and happening couple of Bollywood Saif-Kareena shot for KYA AAP PAANCHVI PAAS SE TEZ HAIN. It is heard that the star couple will appear in the show and whatever amount they win will be donated for a charity of their choice. The date of telecast is not yet finalized.

Shweta of Matrix says, “I can’t comment on the amount as that is against client confidentiality; but yes, a lot of brands have approached us for Kareena and Saif’s joint ads. We are looking at categories where both can work together”.
