Lindsay Lohan helped 40 Indian children in one day

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, who has escaped from controversies back home to do something worthwhile in India, claims to have saved ‘40 children within one day’s work’ in the country. The Hollywood starlet is in India for a documentary on women and child trafficking in India for the BBC. The actress posted comments to producer Cash Warren on the social networking site Twitter: “Over 40 children saved so far.. Within one day’s work. This is what life is about.. Doing THIS is a life worth living”.

Later on she ‘twittered’: “Oh, and I’m talking about being in India, focusing on celebrities and lies is so disconcerting, when we can be changing the world one child at a time.. hope everyone can see that.”

“Traffiking is a big issue here, I’m what I can, and I will continue to do so as long as life when time permits it. Time to bring focus to the things that need help in life, never to late to start helping others, however u can, keep telling people about what’s going on in all 2nd and 3rd world countries and people will want to help too.”

Meanwhile, Indians are not far behind in showing concern for the actress. Hindu statesman, Rajan Zed has advised Lindsay Lohan, to take a dip in the holy Ganges so that the Mean Girls star can "rediscover herself".

"Lindsay Lohan should rediscover herself by taking a dip in the holy Ganges. It is believed that bathing in the sacred Ganges purifies one of all sin and its waters confer immortality”, said Rajan Zed.

Lindsay Lohan gives a peek-a-boo

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan gave visitors of a New York store a chance of a lifetime with a tantalizing peek a boo.

Lindsay appeared to have left her bra at home before going shopping. The star nearly fell out of her low-cut top as she bent down in a trendy designer store.

The 23 year old star was checking out the designer clothes – but guess, she should have started her shopping with the lingerie section.

Lindsay Lohan has peeled off her layers in new film ‘Labour Pains’. An exclusive clip showing the ‘Mean Girls’ actress in her undies was said to have emerged.

Lohan stars as a secretary at a publishing company who’ about to be laid off, so she lies and says she’s pregnant to save her job. But then she gets promoted and has to write a book about Being Pregnant.

The movie Labour Pains went straight to DVD on both sides of the Atlantic, with no preview copies available for reviewers. So please bear in mind this is a total stab in the dark, when I say it’s a pile of abject tosh.

Lindsay Lohan’s house robbed

Lindsay Lohan’s home situated at Hollywood Hills has been recently robbed. The burglars fled with her designer gear, cash and jewelry. Lohan called her father in tears after returning home from a friend's party on finding her home wrecked.

Lohan's father Michael called the police and now he is heading to Los Angeles in an effort to help police find the people behind the burglary and attempted burglaries at the actress' home.

City police are investigating the break-in. This is the second time thieves have targeted the star’s home. Back in May, surveillance cameras caught burglars attempting to raid Lohan's home. They left empty handed.

Lohan’s mother Dina reported a safe being ripped out of the wall in the weekend burglary, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed.

Lindsay Lohan spends 11 hrs to get hairdo

Hot celeb Lindsay Lohan has taken her obsession with Marilyn Monroe a step further as the actress spent 11 hours in a salon just to get her red hair bleached. Lohan is also said to have had long extensions put in during her trip to the hairdressers.

The actress finally emerged from a Beverly Hills salon puffing on a cigarette, covering up her new hairdo with a Fedora.

Lohan had also revealed that she wanted to take her obsession with Monroe to the big screen, and star in a remake of movie classic ‘Some Like It Hot’.

Lindsay Lohan to launch her own sweets

After her not so rocking acting career, Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is now all set to try out her luck and hands in creating her own range of sweets.

Lohan is been reportedly desperate to team up with Sugar Factory, a firm which manufactures "couture lollipops", for a range of confectionery named ‘Female first’. It seems that Lindsay wants to either be the face for a new line of advertisements or design her own range.

Lindsay said “I am using it to distract myself from smoking and drinking." The 23-year-old star has been regularly pictured sucking on lollipops and it seems that she uses them to stop her returning to her vices.

It is not for the first time that Lohan has turned to enterprises other than films. She already has her own range of leggings, called 6126, and released her brand of fake tan Sevin Nyne earlier this year. The actress has also been a model for several fashion houses, including Fornarina, and has her own production company called Unforgettable Productions.

Lindsay Lindsay dresses up as Jackson

‘Mean Girls’ star Lindsay Lohan paid tribute to late King of Pop Michael Jackson by posing and dressing up like him.

Lohan posted a picture of herself on her Twitter account on June 27, dressed in her undies while wearing a Jacksonesque hat pulled over her eyes.

“MJ was playing when this was taken, I’m not that much of narcissist,” the New York Daily News quoted her as having tweeted.

The actress was spotted over the weekend, while out with off-again on-again girlfriend Samantha Ronson in Las Vegas, dressed in Jacko’s signature Sgt. Pepper’s jacket while Ronson wore an MJ T-shirt.

Lindsay Lohan wants her Ex-Beau Samantha Ronson back

Lindsay Lohan is trying hard to reconcile with ex-partner Samantha Ronson. After flying to London to meet Ronson, now Lohan is following the celebrity DJ all over town.

The actress was also spotted visiting the celeb’s Bungalow where Ronson was partying with her brother Mark Ronson and his supermodel girlfriend, Josephine de La Baume.But much to Lohan`s dismay, the Ronsons left the place soon after Lohan`s entry.

She had earlier checked into a hotel close to where Ronson was staying and also believed to have arranged photo shoots and club appearances in the British capital to coincide with Ronson`s visit in an attempt to get back together with Ronson.

Seems, Lohan is really desperate to get Ronson back in her life!

Lindsay & Eddie awarded with Worst Actors Award

Eddie Murphy and Lindsay Lohan were crowned the worst actors of 2007 at the Golden Raspberry Awards on Saturday .Not surprising , neither star showed up to accept the spoof Oscars.

For their lack of acting prowess, the veteran comic and the young actress with the hard-living reputation each won three gold spray-painted Razzie trophies worth $4.89 each.

The annual honors were announced by the Golden Raspberry Foundation at a presentation that pokes fun at the Academy Awards ceremony that is to be held on Sunday.

In a camp opening number, Dan Campbell and Paula Einstein donned '50s dresses and black "beehive" hairdos and sang: "The worst of last year are trembling with fear," and throughout the show clips were shown of the biggest Hollywood howlers of 2007.

Murphy, who starred in the critically savaged comedy "Norbit," set a record by winning three of the four worst acting categories. Despite bad reviews, moviegoers had turned out for the film, which took in $158 million at worldwide box offices based mostly on Murphy's popularity.

Lohan won two worst actress awards for playing twins in "I Know Who Killed Me," a film that was named worst of the year.

She also won worst screen couple for a scene in which she appears opposite herself in the tale about psychically linked siblings stalked by a serial killer.

"I Know Who Killed Me," a major box office flop with a $9 million take worldwide, won eight of nine Raspberries for which it was nominated, breaking a record of seven wins previously held by "Showgirls" and "Battlefield Earth."

Lohan was in and out of rehabilitation programs last year and acknowledged last month that she had fallen off the wagon at a New Year's Eve party. In November, she served 84 minutes in jail for drunken driving and cocaine possession charges.

Murphy won the worst actor award for playing the hapless hero of "Norbit." He had several parts in the movie and also won worst supporting actor and actress Raspberries for roles as a Chinese man and Norbit's screaming overweight wife.

Murphy had earned an Oscar nomination for his dramatic turn as a troubled soul singer in 2006 musical "Dreamgirls" and some critics said the widespread distaste for "Norbit" -- which hit theaters only weeks before the Oscar ceremony -- cost him support for those prestigious awards.

Like Lohan, Murphy's personal life also made headlines last year when he acknowledged fathering a child out of wedlock with Spice Girls singer Melanie Brown. In January of this year, Murphy and his new wife, Tracey Edmonds, split just two weeks after getting married in French Polynesia.

Few Razzies "winners" show up to the awards, which are open to the public, although actress Halle Berry did make an appearance in 2005 and sent herself up with a tearful acceptance speech when named worst actress for "Catwoman."
