Bipasha Basu sizzles on Harper’s Bazaar India ( September 2009)

The Black beauty of Bollywood, Bipasha Basu looks sizzling in black Giorgio Armani dress for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine’s Indian Edition for the month of September 2009.It is a Fall Fashion edition from Harper’s Bazaar.

In addition to this she is also seen wearing D&G, Bottega Veneta, Pucci fabrics. She also wears the gown version of the Marilyn Monroe print gown. The 60’s vibe she is portraying through the dresses and her muscle show are indeed hot. It is refreshing to see an actress who takes care of her body.

Bipasha through her hot scans for Harper’s Bazaar sends a message to woman to workout and stay healthy and achieve it through normal means. Her Armani shot is wonderful lighting, her figure is highlighted, and the gown shine.

Bipasha Basu loves being sexy

Bollywood bombshell Bipasha Basu may be playing a typical housewife in her first Bengali movie "Shob Charitro Kalponik" but the actress says she is happy with the ‘sexy’.

“I love being sexy and I would be happy if people call me sexy even when I turn 100. I would love to be called a sexy grandmother. The tag has never bothered me,” said Bipasha. She does believe that sexiness is not only related to having a good body but all about how one carries one’s self.

Bipasha is currently portraying the character of Radhika in Rituparno Ghosh`s movie "Shob Charitro Kalponik", which deals with love and loss through the story of a woman, who goes on a path of self discovery after the death of her poet-husband. The film also stars Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee.

She is also playing a very interesting role in "Pankh", where she is not a real character but come as the imagination or the alter-ego of the protagonist. Her other upcoming flicks are Rahul Dholakia’s "Lamhaa", which is based on Kashmir, Ajay Devgan starrer “All the Best” and Priyadarshan’s yet-to-be-titled movie.

Bipasha Basu refuses to smoke

The sultry actress Bipasha Basu recently refused to smoke on-screen while shooting for a song in her upcoming flick ‘Pankh.’

Sudipto Chattopadhyay, the director of Pankh wanted Bipasha to smoke on screen for a vital sequence. However, Bipasha flatly refused as she does not encourage smoking and hates it. She was not in favor of the scene and if she smokes, it meant that she would be promoting smoking. Sudipto even gave her the option of holding a cigarette, but she refused that as well. Sudipto understood her point of view and agreed to shoot the scene differently.”

Bipasha confirmed the news “I don’t smoke and I don’t encourage smoking. Unless it’s absolutely essential to smoke for my role, I wouldn’t agree to do it. In ‘Pankh,’ it was not essential, hence I refused. I had also refused to smoke in one of my earlier films, ‘Corporate.’ If my role is that of an addict, then I will do whatever the character and the role demands.”

Bipasha Basu says no to Salman Khan’s Dus ka Dum

Katrina Kaif may work with beau Salman’s rivals, but it is a big No No for Bipasha Basu. The bold beauty believes in supporting her live-in partner John Abraham through thick and thin. Bipasha has refused being a part of Salman’s TV show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ for John, who does not have a sound relation with Salman Khan.

Ajay Devgan and Fardeen Khan are all set to appear for this show hosted by Salman but Bipasha, the leading actress of an upcoming film staring thw other two will not be there.

Bipasha has no problems with Salman, but since her boyfriend does not go well with Salman, she has been avoiding any direct contact with the actor. It’s said that Bipasha is very professional. However, she is also one of those who will not wish to be in an awkward spot.

Bipasha Basu is the face of FA Men Xtreme

Bipasha Basu has unveiled the new FA Men Xtreme Deodorant of whicjh she is the new Brand Ambassador. "FA as a brand is synonymous with freshness and fragrances that are both sensuous and International. I am proud to be associated with FA Men's Deodorant," said Bipasha while endorsing the FA Men Xtreme.

One might be asking that why a woman becomes a Brand Ambassador for men deodorant when it is usually vice versa. Well it is believed that the ultimate need of man is to feel comfortable with the opposite sex and one factor that enables the comfort is to smell good.

Despite the ongoing downfall in economy, endorsement deals seem to be on a high for Bipashaand her beau John. Just last week John was endorsed for two products namely Garnier Men Beauty Products and Diet Pepsi. And now Bips has one. What say???
