Sonal Chauhan to shoot at the Seven Wonders

The Jannat girl Sonal Chauhan is back in action. She is all set to shoot at the Seven Wonders of the World for a song worth Rs.6 million. The song will be for a Kannada film "Cheluvine Ninna Nodalu" and she will be teaming up with southern actor Shivrajkumar.

Sonal is believed to have worn a dress worth about Rs.400,000 in the song. The film's team is expected to fly to all the monuments on the new list of Seven Wonders of the World in March.

"I am very excited about this trip. This is a lifetime opportunity. It's a dream come true! I am eagerly looking forward to doing the same now," said the young actress.

Aamir loses a role as he cannot play a young boy

The perfectionist finds no place in Sanjay Kapoor upcoming film - It's My Life. It's My Life is a remake telugu film Bommarillu. Sanjay has roped in Hurman Baweja for the lead role instead of Aamir Khan because the senior actor would not have fitted the character of a young boy.

Aamir Khan had played the role of a college boy in Rang De Basanti and Dil Chahta hai.And he did it with ease and made the movies successful. He is now doing the same in Three Idiots as well.

But Sanjay thinks otherwise. "You should be looking at what is your story trying to tell. For It's My Life', the role required a young boy. Now obviously Aamir Khan wouldn't have fitted in there. “Sanjay told.

Inspite of two back to back flops Harman gets the film and not the genius. This definitely shows the confidence sanjay has on Harman. He would be sharing screen with the cute babe- Ganelia D’Souza who had also played the led role opposite Siddharth in Bommarillu.

Irrfan Khan in Hollywood adaptation of Life of Pi

After the success of Slumdog Millionaire Irrfan Khan is riding high. He is up for a part in the movie version of “Life of Pi”. Following the film’s success, the Indian actor has become a hit in the international film circuit. Following this trend are Freida Pinto and Dev Patel, who have been offered roles in Woody Allen and M Night Shyamalan’s next fims respectively.

Life of Pi is the best-selling Booker Prize winner of all time and has become a global phenomenon after its 2002 win. It has been translated into 40 languages. The Man Booker prize-winning book tells the tale of a lone shipwreck survivor who shares his lifeboat with a hyena, an injured zebra, an orang-utan and a tiger.

Ang Lee is planning to adapt the novel into a Hollywood movie. The director is in talks over the adaptation of Yann Martel’s novel.

Shilpa Shetty to donate Rs 6000 for every Rajesthan Royals Six

Along with her beau Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty co-owns IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals. She is all set to take IPL to a different level. She has a very aggressive promotional stint for her team in the coming IPL season. Shilpa Shetty has decided to donate Rs 6000 per every six hit by a Rajasthan Royal batsman.

This money will be used as an investment in solar-power plant that will provide electricity to the villages that Shilpa has adopted. Of late she has adopted four villages and is vey curious about development in these remote areas. She acclaims, “The cause is really good. I couldn’t believe that there are still villages that don’t have electricity. This money will go to provide solar lamps on behalf of NDTV and us.”

IPL season 2 is getting glamorous as the lady has promised to add oomph to IPL. Shilpa has plans to produce and feature in a stunning music video for her team lead by Aussie spinner Shane Warne.
