Deepika Padukone and Sidhartha Mallya judged the models for the Kingfisher Calendar 2011 on Tuesday. Several aspiring models took part in the contest for the limited edition Kingfisher swimsuit calendar. Ace lensman Atul Kasbekar would shoot the entire calendar.
Commenting on the models Deepika said “I think apart from just a great body and a great face, I think it’s also very important for the girls to be smart witty, intelligent, because at the end of the day, it’s not, like I said, it’s not just the way you look, I think it’s the entire package, and I think that’s what really takes one forward in life if you really want to become successful. So, I am looking for someone who is, you know, not just good looking but also very, very intelligent.”
Sidhartha said that it was one of the biggest platforms for aspiring models. He also complimented the models, saying they were bold and beautiful.
The calendar, introduced in 2003, was the first of its kind in India, and promises twelve months of glamour and visual appeal.

Sara-Ashmit romance on ‘Bigg Boss-4’ is for TRP
On the other hand, the ‘Bidaai’ girl Sara Khan publicly denounced her relationship with Ali, professing her love for Ashmit.
Ashmit’s publicist also has commented on the issue. He said, “Ashmit is just being himself on the show. Nothing about him is fake or stage-managed. Even if his emotions were to be manipulated by someone on the show, he wouldn’t know it.”
“Since it’s a reality show and almost everything’s on camera, it’s a very tricky situation for all involved. I understand how embarrassing a situation this is for Ali. I sympathize with him as it must be a PR nightmare for him. After the show, if he goes back to Sara, he would be looked upon as a weak man. If Sara goes back to him, her character could come in question. It’s a complete catch-22 situation, but since we are also talking emotions here, it’s not correct for Ali to blatantly blame the TV channel for his personal break-up,” Ashmit’s publicist added.
As for Ashmit’s stand, it’s evident from the show, that the debonair is taking things at face value and as they come. It seems, the Bollywood actor’s approach to Sara’s moves has been responsible and dignified. And probably that’s the reasons he has emerged as a total hit among the girls out there.

Aamir Khan to play Baiju Bawra in Krishna Shah’s next
Known for his perfectionist ways, there is no dearth of good roles offered to Aamir Khan. Going by the latest buzz, Aamir may play the lead in Krishna Shah’s next venture ‘Baiju – The Gypsy’.
Hollywood director Krishna Shah was working on a script for his next movie ‘Baiju – The Gypsy’ and the director was very keen to cast Aamir in the lead role. But buzz has it that the script was put on indefinite hold by the director.
Interestingly, director Krishna Shah seems inspired to work on the project again, after AR Rahman comments that Krishna Shah’s ‘Baiju-The Gypsy’ was one of the most cherished scripts he has read and was disappointed when it was put on hold.
Director Shah said, "In fact Rahman had insisted on me contacting Aamir for the role of Baiju. He even offered to call him. But somehow, things did not work out".
However, Shah does not have time to direct ‘Baiju – The Gypsy’ now, as he is working on his forthcoming film ‘Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story’. Shah is now looking for a talented director who can implement his much touted script of ‘Baiju – The Gypsy’ on big screen.
