Deepika Caught Lying.....

‘Deepika’s real age’ turned out to be quite the highlight all throughout the ‘Om Shanti Om’ promotions as fans and media was impressed to learn that the Bollywood debutante was merely 19-year old when she met Farah Khan first. In fact, Shahrukh even joked that working with her was like working with a ‘child labor’ as she was only 20 when shooting for the movie; the actress had then shared that has was barely 9 when she first saw SRK’s flick ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’.

However, the cat is out of the bag as Deepika didn’t celebrate her 22nd birthday this year as she claimed, but the actress in fact, turned 24 years old early this year. Deepika’s lie was caught in one of her interviews as she shared, “My sister Anisha is 5 years younger to me, and just like my dad she always wanted to have a career in sports. She has become a star golfer at the age of 19.”

Little did Deepika realize that she had unknowingly revealed that she is not 22-years old years; Sister Anisha is 19 and the fact that the two are 5 years apart that would make Deepika 24-year old.

Lets just hope that beau Ranbir knows the truth about Deepika’s true age else, he would be quite in a ‘Bachana from Haseeno’ state.
