First International Children Film Festival to be held in Lucknow

The first international children`s film festival will see 160 movies from 27 countries which is to be screened in Lucknow. The eight-year-old Pinki, who is the star of the Oscar winning film `Smile Pinki`will also be a part of the festival. Several international film directors and producers will also attend the seven-day festival which begins on April 9.

The film festival is organised on the theme of world unity and peace. The international film festival would motivate students, youths and parents towards objectivity and meaningful films and globalise their attitude and thoughts.

The best Indian films from Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad and Rajasthan will be screened. Films from countries from round the world-USA, UK, Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, Canada, Austria, South Korea, Ireland, Latvia, Serbia, Holland, Mauritius, Bulgaria, Lithuania, China, Talin Estonia and Iran will also be screened during the film festival.
