Anushka Sharma Had Found Her Dream Love Long Back

Yash Raj’s latest discovery Anushka Sharma may have landed a dream role, but there is also a dream man in her life. It is learnt that the newbie’s beau is Bangalore-based model Zoheb Yusuf. Anushka makes her B-Town debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

The model-turned actress has been close to Zoheb ever since they began walking the ramp together a few years ago. Last year, Zoheb had the honour of being the first Indian to feature in a United Colors of Benetton ad an opportunity that came his way through the Elite Modelling Agency.

Like Anushka, Zoheb was also trained by Bangalore-based fashion designer-choreographer Prasad Bidappa and featured in all his shows. Zoheb studied at St George’s Homes, Ooty, and Baldwin Methodist College, Bangalore.

Zoheb also has B-Town aspirations and now shuttles between Mumbai and Bangalore. He says, “Films were something Anushka never planned for. I don’t think she ever wanted to do films or move to Mumbai for that. This role was just offered to her and she took it. All I know is that she has the lead role opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She has signed a contract that forbids her from speaking about the project.”

Interestingly, when Mid Day Bangalore was launched two years ago, a picture of Anushka and Zoheb was carried in the inaugural issue. She was quite upset as she did not want her parents to know she was seeing anyone!

She studied at Army School and then took up the Arts at the pre-university level at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. her family used to live in Koramangala in Bangalore. Her dad is in the army and her brother is in the merchant navy. Now her family has moved along with her to Mumbai. As of now, they live in Malad.
